3:13pm - Assault in progress. 5530 W Fullerton. Male in a car with a plate of A397424 ran into the caller's husband's car and is being confrontal, threatening him.

3:20pm - Traffic accident. Lavergne and Chicago. Two cars, no injures.

3:21pm - Holding the offender. 4650 W North Ave. At the Walmart.

3:22pm - Beat 1572 has a traffic stop at 58XX W Augusta.

3:24pm - Holding the offender. 6525 W Diversey. At the Target.

5:08pm - This is no emergency, but Beat 1541 needs a couple of cars at 55XX W Monroe. There's about 12 guys loitering at this location and they refuse to leave. Beat car 1523, as well as 1571, are headed that way. 1541 would like to escort these guys off to jail.

5:13pm - Theft in progress. 800 S Laramie. Two male Blacks stealing things from the yard. They have carts.

5:14pm - Beat car 2514 is giving a flash from the Melvina/Fullerton incident. Wanted are six male Hispanics wearing dark clothing, one with a blue sweater with a backpack with a shag on the back of his head, who's alleged name is Brian. A blue steel handgun was displayed. Brian and his crew took two bikes, one of which was purple and black, and the other one was a blue rusty one. They fled north on Meade from Fullerton.

5:15pm - The Melvina/Fullerton offenders allegedly live around the Burbank school, in the area of Meade and Dickens.

5:29pm - Person wanted. Diversey and Mango. Male who battered the caller, who's wearing a white and black hat with a gray sweater, is standing at the location now.

5:31pm - Beat car 1511 has a traffic stop at 5518 W Chicago.

5:34pm - Beat car 2531 needs a couple of cars at LeMoyne/Parkside. There's about 40 people out there, refusing to move along.

5:44pm - Beat 2530 is saying that 2573 needs to stay on the 1500 block of N Central. There's a crowd out there, looking to get something kicked off. This is related to the LeMoyne/Parkside incident.

11:51am - Beat 6759Charlie is dispersing three for gang and narcotics loitering at 53XX W LeMoyne. Console time is 11:51 and the event number is 07365.

Barking Dog On New England

Good evening, everyone, it's 8:50pm. It's a clear but cold evening, with temps around 20 and a bunch of snow on the ground following last night's action. I'm monitoring Zone 12 only this evening, which is the 15th and 25th Districts. Zone 12 covers the Austin, Galewood, Mont Clarie, Belmont-Craigin and Hermosa neighborhoods, as well as portions of the West Humboldt Park, Avondale and Logan Square neighborhoods. I do not cover the two ladder neighborhoods on this blog because I already cover these two neighborhoods on another blog. All of these neighborhoods are on Chicago's Northwest and West sides. Since I'm on this subject, starting tomorrow, I'm going to only cover specific Beats on the various Zones for a couple of months, until about late March or April. So, for example, I'll cover Beat 2511 one day for a time period, then another day, 1031's Beat would be covered. I'm going to start out with the quietest Beats in the city first. So with that, here's crime for this evening.

Drug Sales In 15, 15 People About To Fight At Augusta/Long

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 4:18pm. It's a pretty warm afternoon here in Chicago, but it's nice. It will remain nice for the next couple of days. Anyway, I'm monitoring Zone 12 today. This Zone is home to the Austin, Galewood, Mont Claire, Belmont-Cragin, Hermosa neighborhoods as well as portions of Dunning, Humboldt Park, Logan Square and Avondale (which I will not cover on this blog, since I already cover those areas). I will be specifically monitoring the Austin area, due to the level of crime and disorder in that area. With that, here's crime for this afternoon and evening.

4:19pm - Drug sales in 15, on 1524's Beat and 1531's Beat.

4:27pm - Assault in progress. Augusta and Long. 15 people about to fight. There was a large fight at this intersection earlier.

4:46pm - Beat 2563Boy just heard some loud reports on the 1400 block of N Lotus.

4:47pm - Several calls of "Shots Fired" from 5544 W North, North/Linder, 5500 W North, etc. About 10 shots fired. This is most likely related to the 4:46pm loud reports.

4:52pm - Police are talking about the Lotus and North/Linder situations. They're apparently related.

5:51pm - Traffic accident. Division and Springfield.

8:16pm - Shots Fired. 53XX W Race. A male Black, 18 years old, white t-shirt and blue jeans with a black handgun tucked in his waistband fired five shots.
