Merry Christmas! (2012)

Good morning, everyone, and Merry Christmas to everyone! It's 6:24am. I hope all of you are enjoying this Christmas morning with all of your loved ones and are experiencing the joy of the holiday season. I love this time of year. Well, it's a cloudy Christmas morning with temps in the upper 20s, and today will be in the mid 30s with some snow flurries or showers. Not a white Christmas like some of us were hoping for, I bet, but it'll do. The important thing is just to remember the joy of the season and be thankful to have your loved ones, and your gifts, near to you. I'm monitoring most of the Zones this morning, which I should be finished with around 9 or 10am (I'm going back to sleep for a little while around 7:15 or so), and then I'll come back for another time period this evening. Crane High School Detail, Construction On Bell

Good morning, everyone, it's 7:10am. It's a cloudy morning with temps in the lower 30s, and today will be around 40 or so with rain and maybe even a thunderstorm. This is getting us ready for the forecasted snowstorm we're supposed to be getting tomorrow. Anyway, there's been a change to the Zones. Well, for only Zone 3 right now for the time being. As of this morning, the 13th District as we know it no longer exists, and now we have a new 12th District, which merges the old 13th and the "current" 12th together. So now 12 is on Zone 3, with the 14th District. This Zone covers a huge geographical area now, from 14's northern border at Belmont all the way to 12's border, Cermak, or some places, the Chicago River. The new 12 has five Beats per sector now (i.e. Beats 1211, 1212, 1213, 1214, 1215) and most Beats are actually pretty small, except for the 30 sector Beats. I'll start putting up exact borders of these Beats later. So far, this is the only change to the Zones. Because this is the first day of this new change, expect things to be a little hectic on Zone 3, particularly in 12.
