Good evening, everyone, it's 7:31pm. Pretty hot day we had here in the city. Tomorrow will be a real scorcher, though. Well, this evening, I'm monitoring Zones 2, 3, 10 and 12. Zone 2 is home to the 19th and 23rd Districts, Zone 3 has the 13th and 14th Districts, Zone 10 hosts the 10th and 11th Districts, and Zone 12 has the 15th and 25th Districts on it. I will try to monitor some other Zones/Districts tomorrow and/or Saturday. We'll see. Here's crime for this evening.

7:38pm - Vicious animal. 21XX W Madison.

7:43pm - Gang disturbance. 18th and Fairfield.

7:47pm - Some call on the 1900 block of W Berenice.

7:48pm - Parker. 2970 N Lake Shore Drive.

7:49pm - Disturbance. 4557 N Lincoln.

8:02pm - Gang disturbance. 5000 W Wellington. Group behind the Falconer school.

8:07pm - Foot chase. Augusta and Mayfield. Beat 6753 is chasing someone. 30 seconds later, that person is in custody.

8:14pm - Assault in progress. Wellington and Cicero. 10 guys getting ready to fight with bricks.

8:16pm - Fireworks. LeClaire and Ohio. Roman candles being shot off.

9:58pm - Large tree down in the 1700 block of N Kedvale as a result of the storms.

10:23pm - Battery in progress. North and Latrobe. Male beating on another male.

11:09pm - Person stabbed. 50XX W Division. 18 yr old female stabbed.

11:28pm - At the 11:09pm job, there are three people who have been cut. It was a result from a fight that broke out at Lawler and Division.

11:31pm - Burglar alarm. 28XX N Killpatrick.

11:40pm - Fireworks. Moody and Diversey.

Group Fighting On Rhodes, Alarm On Dearborn

Good evening, everyone, it's 6:48pm. Yet another warm day in the city. It's summer time, after all. Well, this evening, I'm monitoring Zones 4 and 12. Zone 4 is home to the 1st and 18th Districts, and Zone 12 has the 15th and 25th Districts on it. I will try to monitor some other Zones/Districts tomorrow and/or Friday. We'll see. Here's crime for this evening.

6:52pm - Battery in progress. 6300 S Rhodes. Group of people fighting.

6:55pm - Alarm. 542 S Dearborn. In a suite on the 8th floor.

6:58pm - Assault in progress. 160 E Huron. Two males are about to fight over an auction.

7:42pm - Gang disturbance. 12XX N Springfield.

7:43pm - 1) Narcotics. 14XX N Avers. Three males, 18 yrs old, are selling. Two have on white tees. 2) Narcotics. 3863 W Grand. A Maniac Latin Disciple gang member, late teens, keeps going in and out of the liquor store with drugs. He's wearing a white sleeveless shirt.

8:05pm - Gang disturbance. 18XX N Kildare. Three teens sitting on a gray car representing.

8:15pm - 1) Gambling. 1XX N Lotus. 2) Narcotics. Huron and Lorel. Five males selling drugs in front of a vacant house.

8:16pm - 1) Narcotics. 5800 block of W North Ave. Group of about 15 males selling up and down North between Mason and Monitor. 2) Gambling. 1725 N Lockwood. They're in front of a vacant house.

8:20pm - Battery. 12XX N Kildare.

8:21pm - 1) Disturbance. 5000 W Monroe. Group smoking drugs, drinking and being loud on the corner. 2) Disturbance. Maypole and LaPorte. Two males being loud on the corner.

8:22pm - 1) Narcotics. 5XX S Lavergne. 22 yr old male with a baseball cap and white t-shirt selling drugs to passing cars. 2) Loud music disturbance. 10XX S Monitor.

8:24pm - Battery. 26XX N Newland.

8:36pm - 1) Assault in progress. 21XX N LeClaire. We've got a neighbor trying to fight with the caller's brother. 2) Traffic accident. Central and North. 3) Fireworks. 1300 block of N Laramie.

8:37pm - The 8:36pm LeClaire job is now a "battery in progress".

8:40pm - Shots Fired. Madison and Parkside.

8:43pm - A slow down is being given on the 8:40pm job.

8:46pm - 1) Battery in progress. Hirsch and Karlov. 2) Vicious animal. 3100 block of N Lotus. Two pitbulls running around, trying to attack other dogs. 3) Assault in progress. 21XX N Long. 3) Two narcotic tickets in 25, one on Beat 2532 and one on Beat 2515.

8:53pm - Shots Fired. Monitor and North Ave.

8:54pm - Assault in progress. 55XX W Iowa. Female is on top of the caller's car and is trying to fight them.

8:55pm - The 8:53pm job is fireworks, per Beat 2550. A slow down is being given.

9:03pm - Gang disturbance. 12XX N Springfield. Nine of them representing.

9:08pm - Battery in progress. 100 N Central. Large gang fight in progress.

9:09pm - Battery in progress. 300 block of N Central. Report of at least 25 people fighting in the street. Gang activity is also brewing.

9:13pm - Assault in progress. Lake and Central. Group of teens headed down Central with sticks.

9:16pm - Beat 2563Boy is dispersing three for a gang dispersal at 1210 N Springfield. Console time is 21:16 hours and the event number is 19072.

9:17pm - Gang disturbance. Parkside and Madison.

9:18pm - Fireworks. 2600 block of N Newland.

9:20pm - Battery in progress. 5600 W Madison. Big fight.

9:22pm - Battery in progress. Thomas and Laramie. 50 kids fighting with bottles.

9:26pm - Battery. 47XX W Palmer. Known male hit someone in the head with a bottle.

9:34pm - Gang disturbance. Kildare and Cortland. They're throwing bottles.

9:43pm - Shots Fired. Madison and Parkside. Several heard and there are about 100 people outside.

9:44pm - Shots Fired at 1XX N Parside, Washington and Parkside. Anywhere from two to 18 shots fired.

9:46pm - Shots Fired. XX N Parkside. 40 to 50 people running with three gunshots.

9:49pm - Disturbance. Palmer and Moody.

9:51pm - Information for the CPD. 16XX N Monitor. Males in white and black t-shirts have been firing shots for the last half hour, and now they ran into the apartment building.

Vodka Man Screaming On Wallace, Possible Thief On Chestnut

Good evening, everyone, it's 6:50pm. Beautiful but warm afternoon we have here. It's in the low to mid 80s. The Districts I will be monitoring this evening are 1, 9, 13, 15, 18 and 25, which are on Zones 4 (1 and 18), 3 (13), 12 (15 and 25) and 13 (3). I don't have much else to say, so enjoy.

6:51pm - Disturbance. 4400 and 4500 blocks of S Wallace. Male in his 50s is drunk and is screaming at the top of his lungs. He has a vodka bottle in his hand.

6:54pm - Check the well being. 247 E Chestnut. The mother needs to be checked on, caller thinks that someone's stealing from her.

6:56pm - Burglar alarm. 51 W Jackson. At the Metro Bank.

6:58pm - Narcotics. 700 block of N Throop. Two males selling drugs.

6:59pm - Disturbance. 16XX N Hudson. Skateboarding males.

7:00pm - Beat 7382Adam is doing a premise check at the Jackson Blue Line.

7:43pm - Disturbance. 28XX N Meade.

First Actual Post of CCB

Good evening, everyone, it's 7:26pm. This is my first post of this new blog. As you know, this blog will cover the entire city (if not, most of it). But my attention will not be on the entire city on this summer evening. I'll be monitoring Zones 10, 12, 13 and 2 (Districts 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 19 and 25) this evening, mostly Zones 10 and 12. We'll see how this goes. With that, here's crime in Chicago for this evening.

7:26pm - Beat 961Eddie has a stop at 36th and Wood.

7:33pm - Kidnapping in progress. Halsted and Diversey. A cab driver snatched a female off the street. The cab number is #4630 and it's heading towards Mildred on Diversey.

7:36pm - Battery in progress. 4900 S Western. In the Orange Line station. Two people are fighting.

7:39pm - Disturbance. 32XX S May. Caller has a problem with people watering their lawn.

8:01pm - Battery in progress. Laramie and Ferdinand. Large gang fight involving bats and sticks.

9:59pm - Person w/ a gun. 23XX S Oakley. Male Black with a red, blue and black shirt has a gun. He's heading towards 23rd.

10:03pm - Person w/ a gun. Chicago and Lawndale. Three male Blacks, one with a red/black shirt, and one with a white shirt, dumped their guns in the vacant lot across the street, by the church.

10:04pm - Disturbance. Karlov and 26th. Male blowing a whistle in people's ears outside of the liquor store.

10:08pm - Disturbance. 4XX S Pulaski. Loiters.

10:09pm - Fire. 1400 S Spaulding. In the alley.

10:32pm - Battery in progress. 900 block of N Kedvale. Large fight in the middle of the block. Someone said they're going to get a gun.

10:33pm - Battery. Roosevelt and Kedvale. Known male in his 50s battered the caller.

10:35pm - Gang disturbance. Adams and Keeler. Group congregating.

10:39pm - Gang disturbance. Kostner and Walton. Group of them congregating and throwing fireworks.

11:10pm - Some CPD presence is needed at Keeler and Adams. The wagon and a car are going.

11:17pm - Shots Fired. 1500 S Spaulding.

11:23pm - Per a supervisor in 11, the corner of Adams and Keeler is to be payed attention to through the night. There's a large group of "men" out there tonight.

11:45pm - Gang disturbance. 1700 block of N Luna. They're out there in force, and are threatening a citizen.

11:49pm - They're calling back on the 10:35pm job.

11:50pm - Battery victim injured at Ohio and Sawyer.

Welcome To My Chicago Crime Blotter Page!

Hello everyone, welcome to my Chicago Crime Blotter page! I'm Tim (A.KA. Timmy), the creator of this blog. You may know me from the Avondale/Logan Square Crime Blotter. This blog is about the crime in the city of Chicago. I was inspired by my current blog, in addition to the "Broken Heart of Rogers Park" (made by Craig Gernhardt), "Chicago News Report" (made by Timothy Fitz), and the "Edgewater Crime Blotter" to create this blog. Those blogs are very good with details of crime in specific areas, but however, I would like to showcase ramdom calls that come into Chicago's 911 Center for most of the city, rather than just a specific neighborhood, so that's why I created this blog.

About me: I am an 18 year old male, with a condition known as autism. I attend Sullivan High School (about to graduate next year), in the Rogers Park neighborhood. My hobbies outside of blogging are watching TV, going out on weekends to travel to various places in Chicago (also to take photographs of CTA buses, my favorite hobby of all time), being with family and friends, and being on the internet.

I am a nice person, but I won't take crap from nobody in comments on this blog. Any discrimation or hate in the comments will NOT be tolerated. Also, comments regarding crime are welcome at ANY time, but again, please, no racism or hate.

Most information on this crime blotter will be coming from my police scanner. I may post articles from different news sources at times, though.

I will be covering most of the Chicago Police radio system, with the exception of Zones 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 most times. I can definitely pick up the rest of the Zones, but my information will especially be coming from Zones 1, 3 and 12, since those Zones the ones I monitor the most, but I will try to have crimes from other Zones posted up at least once a day. Though, just an FYI: This blog will most likely not be done everyday. I will try my best to do it day after day and keep it updated, but that is not a definite promise.
