Burglar Report And Walkers On Lockwood

Good morning, everyone, it's 10:22am. It's in the 70s with sunshine. It's supposed to storm today though. Anyway, I will be covering mostly Zone 12 today, as usual. That's because I want all of you to read/focus more on incidents happening on the northwest/west sides of town. I find that so many blogs here in Chicago only pay attention to the north side lakefront neighborhoods, and that's not really my goal. There's more to Chicago than that. However, I'll also cover Zones 13, 1, 10 and 3 to report crimes happening in other parts of the west side of Chicago. Here's crime for today.

10:25am - 1) Burglar report. 8XX N Lockwood. 2) Suspicious person. 1100 block of N Lockwood. Group walking up and down the block, possibly waiting for drug sales.

11:29am - Battery in progress. Laramie and Thomas. Four males beating on one.

11:32am - A 15th District unit is reporting that there's a bunch of people in the east alley of the 1100 block of N Lorel. They're possibly waiting on drugs.

1:39pm - Gang disturbance. Barry and Parkside.

2:21pm - Beat 2562Eddie has a handwaver around Laramie and Hirsch in regards to a white Ford F150 pick-up truck being stolen. It was seen heading east towards Leamington.

2:22pm - Sex offense. Diversey and Laramie. Male has been following a 13 year old girl for several blocks and attempted to fondle her.

2:25pm - CTA bus disturbance. Laramie and Grand. Aboard bus #1888, heading east.

2:27pm - Wanted from the 2:21pm thing is a male Black, white shirt w/ stripes, blue jeans and sun shades.

2:33pm - Traffic accident. 4800 W Monroe. Injures. Also, Beat 2552 just saw that white truck at Laramie and LeMoyne. He's not sure where it went.

2:34pm - Beat 2562Boy just saw the van go down LeMoyne from Leamington.

2:35pm - Van's been pulled over at Lorel and LeMoyne.

2:48pm - Gang disturbance. 14XX N Springfield. They're running around and yelling.

2:49pm - Battery in progress. Grand and Pulaski. Seven males beating on one.

2:57pm - Suspicious person. Wabansia and Karlov. Male Hispanic with a long shirt and black pants. He's knocking on doors, claiming he's from AT&T.

2:58pm - 1) Narcotics. Madison and Mason. Two males on the corner selling drugs. One has on a red shirt and white shoes, while the other has on a blue shirt and jeans. They're in a gray car. 2) Narcotics. Lockwood and Harrison. Male Black with a white summer hat, white t-shirt and blue jeans.

3:00pm - I'm going to take a break from this blog for a couple of hours. I'll be back.

7:37pm - I'm back. Also, there's a parker on 913's Beat.

7:40pm - Disturbance. 86XX W Berwyn. Caller reports that the neighbor grabbed their kid and yelled and swore at them.

7:46pm - Assault. 27XX W Cermak. Someone's threatening to shoot the caller.

7:51pm - Criminal trespass. 2233 W Ohio. At the Mitchell school. Eight kids on the roof.

8:57pm - Fireworks. 2900 N Natchez.

9:05pm - Person w/ a gun. Altgeld and Marmora.

9:45pm - Person wanted. 51XX W Washington.

9:51pm - Shots Fired. Springfield and Grand.

10:07pm - Gang disturbance. 12XX N Springfield.

10:12pm - Holding the offender. 4650 W North Ave. At Walmart.

10:29pm - Backlog in 15 at 22:29 hours.

10:30pm - Battery in progress. Leamington and Adams. People fighting in Moore Park.

10:36pm - Missing person report. 5107 W Jackson. From the Columbus Park Manor group home. 23 year old resident jumped over the gate and left.

10:37pm - Prostitution. North and Ridgeway.

10:44pm - Missing person report. 1XX N Laramie.

11:17pm - Disturbance. 28XX N Long. Intoxicated male on the caller's porch.

11:21pm - Criminal damage. Central and Diversey.

11:35pm - DUI driver. 1300 block of N Mason.
