100 Kids Fighting At Leamington/Thomas, Operation Box Cleaner In 9

Good evening, everyone, it's 7:09pm. It's a pretty warm, but gorgeous afternoon, in Chicago. Anyway, I'm monitoring Zones 1, 2, 4, 10, 12 and 13. Zone 1 covers the far Northwest side of the city, while Zones 2 and 4 cover areas such as Uptown, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Near North Side, Downtown and the South Loop. Zones 10 and 12 cover the west side (Zone 12 covers some of the northwest side, also). Zone 13 covers areas such as the Near West Side, the area just south of West Haven, UIC, West Loop, Brighton Park, Bridgeport, New City, Back Of The Yards, Fuller Park and McKinley Park. Tomorrow, I will cover more of Zone 12 and these Zones, plus maybe a couple of others. So here's crime for this evening.

7:09pm - Battery in progress. Leamington and Thomas. 100 kids fighting in the street.

7:11pm - Beat 962David asks for a Operation Box Cleaner mission event number. It's 15651.

7:13pm - Disturbance w/ a mental. Belmont and Austin. ComEd worker was at a customer's house, working on the power lines, when a man living there freaked out and ran out with a screw driver.

7:14pm - Disturbance. 3800 N Narraganset. At Mount Olive Cementary. Teens drinking.

7:17pm - Commercial alarm. 20XX N Sedgwick.

7:19pm - 1) Disturbance. 21st and Troy. Males loitering and drinking on the corner. 2) Disturbance. 16XX S St. Louis. Six males setting up for a card game.

7:21pm - Beat 2330 says that 2311 is going to join him on a gang suppression mission from Montrose to Leland on Magnolia.

7:26pm - 1) Assault. North and Luna. 2) Criminal trespass/Person with a gun. 1639 N Keeler. Gangbangers put a gun in the vacant building at this address.

7:27pm - Information for the CPD. Huron and Cicero. Bunch of people on the corner claiming that there's going to be a shooting.

7:29pm - Battery in progress. 17XX N Monitor.

7:31pm - Shots Fired. George and Mango. Gang signs were exchanged, then a gray car with occupants fired several shots at two men on a bike. Couple of calls coming in.

7:32pm - From the 7:31pm job, a description was given by a caller. Two 16 year old boys were involved. One has scratches on his face and has on a white t-shirt.

7:33pm - 1) Beat 2505 is on a park check at Blackhawk. 2) A unit has the 7:31pm van stopped in the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts at Fullerton and Laramie.

8:11pm - 1) Gang disturbance. 2XX N Lockwood. 12 to 15 teens involved in gang activity and are selling drugs. 2) Narcotics. Monroe and Lotus. Ten males, 16 to 22 years old, white t-shirts and jeans, selling drugs. 3) Narcotics. 7XX N Pine. Two men with pit bulls selling drugs. 4) Narcotics. Washington and Lotus. Two males, one with a white shirt and shorts, and the other with a blue baseball hat and white shirts.

8:12pm - Beat 2562Adam is arresting one from 3127 N Central from a handwaver.

8:13pm - 1) Beat 2593 has a handwaver at Diversey and Laramie. 2) Vice complaint. 50XX W Monroe. Five on the porch drinking.

8:21pm - Criminal trespass. 17XX N Mayfield.

8:28pm - Criminal damage in progress. 28XX N Newland. Male wearing all black is tagging the garage.

8:32pm - 1) Assault in progress. 42XX W Armitage. Three males at the caller's door, trying to kick it in. 2) Gang disturbance. Grand and Springfield. Gangbangers throwing bottles at passing vehicles.

8:33pm - Disturbance. Augusta and Menard. Several males on the corner.

8:34pm - An RD number has been pulled from the 8:12pm handwaver for a 0530. It's HT440284 with the event number of 16923.

8:38pm - 1) Disturbance. 5200 W Washington. 2) Vice complaint. 20XX N Nagle. 3) Assault. 18XX N Mason.

8:43pm - Battery in progress. 4XX N LeClaire. Ten males beating on one.

8:50pm - Battery in progress. 500 block of N LeClaire. Gang fight.

8:51pm - A slow down is being given on the two LeClaire fights.

8:55pm - Disturbance. 23XX N Laramie.

9:05pm - Disturbance. 57XX W Ohio. Male Black, 40-45 years old, white shirt and blue jeans, is in the alley ripping open garbage bags from the bins.

9:08pm - The 9:05pm job is now coming in as a theft in progress. Two guys are stealing the almunin posts connected to the caller's fence and are putting them in a shopping cart.

9:15pm - Assist the PO. 30XX N Rutherford. Two male Hispanics in a brown 4-door Sedan with a possible plate of H722614 followed the caller home after a road rage incident. They're still in the area.

9:18pm - A slow down is being given on the 9:15pm job. The officer is saying the Sedan is large. It fled towards Normandy on Wellington.

9:23pm - Prostitution. North and Avers. Three females.

9:25pm - Gang disturbance. 64XX W Belmont. Gang members running towards the park, yelling and are about to fight.

9:27pm - Narcotics. 19XX N Keystone. Two males smoking drugs.

9:30pm - Burglar alarm. 16XX N Natchez.

9:32pm - Disturbance. 23 S Mayfield. People loitering in front of the vacant building.

9:37pm - Person w/ a gun. Lawler and Ohio. Four 17 year old males gathered on the corner with guns.

9:44pm - A slow down is being given on the 9:37pm job.

9:45pm - Person w/ a knife. 5600 W Fullerton. At the Walgreens. Male Black, 30 years old, 5'6, blue button-down shirt has a 5' or 6' inch knife. He was shoplifting and the employees tried to detain him but he threatened them with the large knife.

9:53pm - Battery in progress. Menard and Augusta. 30 people fighting in the street.

10:01pm - Person w/ a gun. 3XX N Menard. Male Black, white hat, white t-shirt and brown shorts is in front fighting with another male, and has a gun.

10:14pm - Gang disturbance. 51XX W Deming.
