Gang Activity On Lotus, Narcotics At Hirsch/Linder
Good afternoon, everyone, it's 3:15pm. It's a pretty warm out today in Chicago, but it's summer for ya. Anyway, I'm monitoring Zone 12 at the time being until about 7pm, then I will monitor some other Zones, then I'll be done with this blog for the night. Here's crime for this afternoon.
3:32pm - Gang activity on the 1400 block of N Lotus, again.
3:42pm - Narcotics. Hirsch and Linder.
5:14pm - Person wanted. Crystal and LeClaire. A man wanted for murder is on the corner, loitering with some other guys.
5:41pm - Battery in progress. Rils Park. Large group fighting in the park.
5:42pm - 1) Fire. 3810 W Division. 2) Gang disturbance. Oak Park and Barry.
5:57pm - Disturbance. 30XX N Oriorle.
6:25pm - 1) Gambling. 11XX N Mason. 8 males gathered, gambling and loitering. 2) Narcotics. Iowa and Long. 3) Narcotics. Cortez and Lamon.
6:27pm - Person w/ a gun. Jackson and Central. Male Black, 17 yrs old, red t-shirt and black pants has a chrome handgun in his pistol and he threatened to shoot the caller. He's sitting on the southwest corner by a stoop with another teenage male and two female teens with him.
6:28pm - Disturbance. 11XX N Lavergne. Six people loitering and drinking.
6:29pm - Commercial alarm. 18XX N Long. Also, a slow down is being given at Central and Jackson.
6:32pm - Battery in progress. 10XX N Lawler. Two teenage males fighting in the street and a large crowd has gathered.
6:34pm - Person wanted. Belden and Lorel. Five girls who beat up the caller before are on the corner.
6:38pm - The 6:32pm job is coded. No crowd, no teen guys getting into it.
6:39pm - Sellings at Mayfield/Superior and Hirsch/Lockwood.
6:42pm - Battery in progress. Division and Leamington. 15 people fighting in the street.
6:56pm - Beat 1572 needs some more cars at Thomas and LeClaire. They've got a big fight in the street.
6:57pm - Beat 1563Eddie needs a female for a search at Cicero and Augusta. Also, Beat 1552 just ran into a hit and ran accident at Lavergne and Division. Ambulance needed.
6:59pm - A gray pick-up truck was involved in the hit and run.
7:01pm - Beat 1572 is responding to 1563E's assistance call.
7:04pm - Person w/ a knife. 49XX W Augusta. Male Black, 6'1, 205 lbs, with a black and red shirt, is fighting with someone and has a knife.
7:15pm - A 9th District unit is dispersing two for gang loitering from 45XX S Wood. Event number is 165XX.
7:16pm - Beat 6710 is dispersing four for gang loitering from 42XX S Campbell. Event number is 16554. Also, he needs an event number.
7:19pm - Burglar report. 2XX E Cullerton.
7:23pm - Beat 1852 has a traffic stop at 70 E Walnut.
7:25pm - Beat 1189 is doing a premise check at 2400 W Madison. Event number is 16706.
7:26pm - Parker. 200 block of N Kedvale. Permits.
