Outdoor Roll Call @ Kedzie And Hirsch

Good morning, everyone, it's 10:10am. It's a pretty hot morning out there, being in the mid 80s. There's supposed to be a heat wave this week, so we'll see how that goes. Anyway, I'm monitoring Zone 3 at the moment, and will do so until 2pm, where then I'll switch over to Zone 12 and monitor that until about 6:30, and then finally, I'll be going from Zone to Zone for about 15 to 20 minutes, then I'll resume this blog tomorrow. My primary focus here on Zone 3 is the 13th District, especially since my other blog covers most of 14. I will be especially paying attention to calls on Beats 1311, 1313, 1331, 1332 and 1333. So, with that, here's crime for today.

10:11am - Beat 1420 is holding an outdoor roll call at Kedzie and Hirsch.

10:30am - Disturbance. 7XX N Armour. Neighbor just slaughtered a pig, and the ... remains of this pig are all over the alley.

10:33am - Burglar alarm. 1552 W Chicago Ave.

10:36am - Municipal ordinance violation. Potomac and St. Louis. Male with a black shirt and gray shorts is walking four dogs, who do not have leashes on, by the school playground.

11:32am - Municipal ordinance violation. Huron and Milwaukee. Sidewalk sell.

11:39am - Criminal trespass. 20XX W Huron. Former tenant on scene, refusing to leave.

11:55am - Health check the well being. Wicker Park. Intoxicated man in the park with a heat-related illness.

11:57am - Beat 1462Eddie is following a hot car, heading east in the alley. This might turn into a speed chase.

11:58am - Still heading east. Passing Homan on Evergreen. No lights or sirens activated, and 1462 is monitoring it.

12:00pm - Offender is in custody. Hirsch and Munoz Drive.

12:01pm - Beat 1362E has a street stop at Chicago and Homan, just outside of the district.

12:18pm - 1) Disturbance. 20XX W Race. Several neighbors arguing with the people at the car wash. 2) Recover the stolen vehicle. 701 N Sacramento. At the pound.

12:19pm - Loud music disturbance. Iowa and Washtenaw. Couple of calls on it.

3:57pm - Gang disturbance. North and Springfield. Two males throwing bottles at traffic, heading east.

4:27pm - Shots Fired. Mayfield and Potomac.

4:29pm - Assault in progress. Central and Jackson. Group about to fight near the store.

4:54pm - Burglar alarm. 22XX N Lockwood.

5:05pm - Shots Fired. Potomac and Mayfield. Five heard with a gray vehicle speeding off from the scene.

5:12pm - Battery. 48XX W Hirsch.

5:27pm - Burglar report. 16XX N Keeler.

5:33pm - Vice complaint. On 2511's Beat.

5:48pm - Burglar alarm. 1514 N Cicero.

5:54pm - Beat car 2514 has a traffic stop at George and Laramie. Also, 2593 is getting an accident on the 2300 block of N Rutherford.

5:56pm - Person wanted. 5133 W North Ave. At the McDonalds.

7:10pm - 1) Shots Fired. Kenmore and Dickens. Four heard. 2) Burglar alarm. 1012 N Dearborn.
