Battery Victim Injured On Linder, CVS Shoplifter Returns

Good morning, everyone, it's 9:41am. It's a mostly cloudy with temps in the mid 70s, and today will be somewhat cloudy with temps in the mid 80s. Warm late May day, which is average. Today, I'm monitoring Zone 12 for the most part, but will monitor some other Zones this evening around 9pm or so. With that, here's crime for today.

9:42am - Battery victim injured. 31XX N Linder.

9:44am - Disturbance. 6355 W Belmont. At the CVS. Male shoplifter is back on scene.

9:51am - Beat car 2511 has the CVS guy stopped at 6544 W. Belmont, needs another car. Beat 4314David is headed over.

10:03am - EMS run. 59XX W Diversey. Woman needs medical attention.

10:07am - Beat 1563 is following a car going west on Lake towards Pine that’s going at a high rate of speed. They’re not chasing yet.

10:08am - Suspect bailed from the car. Running south on Pine from Lake.

10:09am - Okay, the guy’s in custody. 5438 W Ferdinand.

10:14am - Loud music disturbance. 48XX W St. Paul.

10:21am - Battery. 1XX N Mayfield. Worker attacked the caller.

10:50am - Holding the offender. 1606 N Mobile. At the Walgreen’s.

10:56am - Disturbance. 5050 W Chicago. At the food mart. Guy won’t pay for his merchandise.

11:02am - Wanted from the 10:50am job is a female Black, 40 yrs old, 5’10, 150 lbs with a yellow top and black stretch pants stole some body soaps. She fled north on Mobile from North Ave. about 10 minutes ago.

11:20am - Loud music disturbance. 41XX W Potomac.

11:25am - Burglar alarm. 1XX N Latrobe.

12:49pm - Battery in progress. 5900 W Rice. Group fighting on the street.

1:20pm - 1) Disturbance. 29XX N Cicero. Neighbors arguing. 2) Disturbance. 27XX N Oak Park.

7:03pm - Check the well being. 51XX W Washington. Attempted CSA by a known 17 yr old male.

7:05pm - Battery. Grand and Pulaski. Female friend hit the caller.

7:30pm - Battery in progress. LaFollete Park. Group fighting.

7:40pm - Disturbance. 5000 W Monroe. Lots of kids in front, yelling.

7:46pm - Beat 1510 has an on-view fight at Central and Corcoran.  Needs another car.

7:47pm - 1510 is giving units a wave off. The fight’s broken up.

8:00pm - Residential alarm. 1XX N Parkside.

8:12pm - Gang disturbance. LeMoyne and Hamlin. Six flashing signs and throwing bottles.

8:52pm - Gang disturbance. Lavergne and Montana.

9:50pm - Burglar alarm. 31XX N Newcastle.

9:51pm - Municipal ordinance violation. On 1512’s Beat.

9:56pm - Burglary in progress. 62XX W Barry. Man with no shirt and something in his hand is trying to break into the caller’s house.

9:58pm - Beat 2550 has a suspect from the 9:56pm job in front of the location. He’s running.

9:59pm - 2550 has the guy in custody.
