EMS Run @ Division/Paulina, Vice Complaint On Randolph

Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. It's a clear, hot overnight with temps in the mid 80s. It's going to be about 100 today with sunshine. I'm monitoring Zone 3 from now until 6am, and then I'll return at noon with Zone 12 for the majority of the day. I plan on monitoring some other Zones this evening, though.

12:09am - EMS run. Division and Paulina. Confused male.

12:10am - Vice complaint. 21XX W Randolph.

12:39am - Information for the CPD. 1804 W Lake. Power outage in the area, alarm company wants CPD to check to see everything is ok.

12:40am - Suspicious vehicle. 30XX W Washington. Male in a 4-door white Sedan looks like he stole the car.

12:41am - Disturbance. 701 N Sacramento. At the pounds. People working there are refusing to give the caller their car back.

12:45am - Gang disturbance. 33XX W Evergreen. Gangbangers congregating in front.

12:53am - Battery in progress. 20XX W Randolph. Males fighting in front.

12:54am - Person down. Ashland and Fulton. Man down in front of the bar.

12:56am - Person w/ a gun. 20XX W Randolph. Male in black and white has a gun.

12:57am - Beat 1365Boy is giving a slow down on the 12:53/12:56am jobs. No gun, no fight. There's a lot of back and forth yelling but they're all dispersing and going back in their houses.

1:26am - Battery report. Norweigan Hospital.

1:33am - Burglar alarm. 34XX W Hirsch.

1:52am - Shots Fired. 13XX N Maplewood. Five heard in the area.

2:35am - 1) Disturbance. 1177 N Elston. Problem at the bar with patrons not paying for their food. 2) Loud music disturbance. 1700 block of W Ohio. Loud party.

2:40am - Battery in progress. North and California. Three males fighting on the corner.

3:44am - Shots Fired. 1400 block of W Cortez. Multiple calls coming in. In the alley. Several fired.

3:46am - Beat car 1322R has a red car stopped at 14XX W. Cortez, related to the 3:44am call. Windows might have been shot out.

3:47am - A 911 caller is advising 1322R to use caution with that vehicle, it's got gangbangers in it.

4:14am - 1) Suspicious person. 29XX W Walnut. Male and female Black with demin jackets are looking into the yards. 2) Burglary. 20XX W Warren. Male Black with a white shirt tried to break into the caller's condo. 3) Burglary. 8XX N Damen. Residence was broken into.

4:19am - Information for the CPD. 14XX W Cortez. White 4-door vehicle parked behind this location needs to be checked.

4:56am - Suspicious person. 1004 N Elston. Male Black, 6'1, white tanktop and gray/white shorts is in the alley, looking around and walking around a motorcycle.

5:50am - Suspicious vehicle. 24XX W Haddon. Blood all over a brown minivan.

6:00am - I'm going to go for a few hours. I'll be back by noon. Hope everyone has a great start to their morning!

12:47pm - I'm back. Good afternoon, everyone.

12:50pm - Residential alarm. 24XX N McVicker.

12:52pm - Beat car 1532 has an open hydrant at Lorel and Ohio.

1:13pm - Shots Fired. 53XX W Race.

1:20pm - Hold-up alarm. 6400 W Fullerton.

1:36pm - Gang disturbance. Division and Mayfield. Four males and a female, who's also a prostitute, are doing their thing.

1:39pm - Theft. 3845 W North Ave. At the Family Dollar. Male stole some merchandise.

1:48pm - Traffic accident. Pulaski and Potomac.

1:58pm - Wanted from the Family Dollar theft over at 3845 on North is a male Black and a female Black. The male is in his 40s, last seen wearing an orange construction vest, and the female was 42 years old, last seen wearing an orange dress with gold flowers on it. They fled into a sliver-colored Chevy Monte Carlo in an unknown direction. An RD number is being pulled from this incident, and it's HV387229 with the event number of 09638.

2:08pm - Narcotics. Washington and Parkside. Six male Blacks in white t-shirts and black jeans are selling.

2:40pm - Parker. 30XX N Oketo.

2:47pm - Narcotics. XX S Mayfield.

3:14pm - Residential alarm. 29XX N Parkside.

3:30pm - Shots Fired. Lorel and Augusta. Three to four heard.

3:32pm - Several calls are coming in now for Lorel/Augusta. Several gunshots heard.

3:34pm - Beat 1510 is on scene and he's saying it looks bona fide. Large crowd on the scene.

3:36pm - It's bona fide. Victim is in serious condition. Shot twice.

3:37pm - Witnesses are saying that the shooter ran into the 1000 block of N Lorel after the shooting. The victim's going to be taken to Loyola Hospital out in Maywood.

3:40pm - It's being said that the victim has a gang affliation with the Four Corner Hustlers. Go figure. Also, the shooter may have fled onto Long or Lockwood as well.

3:41pm - 1510 has a working crime scene over there. Couple of shell casings and blood on the scene. Beat car 1513 is the paper car, and they'll be going to Loyola.

3:43pm - An RD number is being pulled from the shooting. It's HV387386 with the event number of 11885.

3:54pm - Shots Fired. Ferdinand and Lamon. Male Black with no shirt and black jogging shirts fired several shots.

3:56pm - Beat 1563Charlie is giving a slow down at Ferdinand/Lamon. Nothing seen yet.

4:35pm - Beat car 1511 needs more cars at a mental disturbance at 7XX N Lotus. Multiple units going. There's a fight going on.

4:36pm - Ok, now 1511's incident is a 10-1. 10-1 at 749 N Lotus. All available units in 15 and 25 are being advised to go.

4:37pm - A slow down is being given on the 10-1.

4:38pm - Complete disregard on the 10-1, per Beat 2530. Meanwhile, Beat car 1523 just got into an accident at Lavergne and Kinize while heading to the 10-1. The officers are fine, but a woman has a cut on her arm. EMS needed.

5:03pm - Oh great. Now 1510's reporting that there's a fight breaking out at Augusta and Lorel, at the scene of the shooting from earlier. Large group in the middle of the street fighting. More cars are needed.

5:04pm - Units are being requested to step up their presence at Augusta/Lorel. It's getting out of hand.

5:05pm - And now it's a 10-1 at Augusta/Lorel. It's completey out of control. All avaiablie units in 15 and 25 are being asked to go.

5:06pm - A slow down is being given at Augusta/Lorel. Bunch of units are on scene and it's starting to calm down now.

5:07pm - A complete disregard is being given at Augusta/Lorel. No more units needed.

7:21pm - Beat car 1231 needs a transport car at Loomis and 17th. They've got a few to go. Beat car 1224 will head over.

7:25pm - Animal abuse. 74XX N Winchester.

7:30pm - Information for the CPD. Buena and Sheridan. Basketball-sized sinkhole in the street is getting bigger.

7:43pm - Narcotics. Latrobe and Washington.


8:10pm - 1) Narcotics. North and Mason. Six males smoking blunts and drinking. 2) Narcotics. Long and Kamerling. Male pulling drugs out of his pocket.

8:29pm - Disturbance. 5900 block of W North Ave. Group keeps coming back to loiter between Mason and Austin.

8:34pm - Disturbance. 240 N Central. At the school. Large group of kids are loitering.

8:35pm - Gang disturbance. 1400 block of N Springfield. Group of 20 out there.

9:38pm - Shots Fired. Bloomingdale and Linder.

9:45pm - Loud music disturbance. 20XX N Kenneth.

9:49pm - 1) Narcotics. 52XX W Ohio. Male Black in a black jersey is hiding drugs. 2) Narcotics. Menard and Ohio. Male selling on the corner.
