Post-Shooting Mission @ Huron/Lafflin, Traffic Stop At Central Park/Hirsch
Good morning, everyone, it's 8:17am. It's a sunny morning with temps in the upper 70s. Today will be in the mid 80s with sunshine. I'm monitoring Zones 3 and 7 today. Here's crime.
8:19am - Beat car 1324 is doing a post-shooting mission at Huron and Lafflin. Event number is 04332.
8:28am - Beat car 1422 has a traffic stop at Central Park and Hirsch. Running a plate.
8:31am - Residential alarm. 10XX N Hoyne.
8:50am - Battery. Division and Ashland. Male punched another guy by the newsstand. FYI: this call came in on 13's side.
8:53am - Disturbance. 14XX N Western. Guy is angry about a bike being chained to his fence and he's threatening to axe it off himself.
8:54am - Disturbance. Division/Ashland. Guy is in the street, eating something. FYI: This call came in on 14's side.
8:56am - The guy's now passed out at the 8:54am job.
8:59am - 1324 has a detail he has to go to at Ashland and Erie. It's a procession with some kids walking down Erie. It starts at Paulina but he has to make sure the kids don't get hurt crossing Ashland.
9:02am - The 8:54/8:56am job is now a battery. The guy who's down was punched in the face and fell to the ground. The offender is a male Hispanic, 5'10, 180 lbs, all white jumpsuit with a black tanktop underneath. He's also got a baseball cap, and he's by the food stand now.
9:07am - The 8:53am caller is calling back and says that he doesn't want CPD anymore, he'll take manners into his own hands. He left, too. Beat 1445, the unit assigned to the call, says that the bike isn't blocking the gate. The guy wanted to talk to the officer on the phone but Dispatch told him he couldn't do that.
9:09am - Disturbance. 7XX N Ashland. Group of four people are on the sidewalk, drinking and are blocking the sidewalk with shopping carts.
9:25am - The Division/Ashland is coded 19P. Nothing happened over. An ambulance will be taking the guy to the hospital, though. He's wiped out.
9:37am - 1) Check the well being. 8XX N Fairfield. Caller is the landlord of the building and he's concerned about one of his tenants. 2) Person wanted. Madison and Francisco. Caller just spotted the person who battered them. The offender is wearing a red hat, gray t-shirt and blue pants.
9:52am - Traffic accident. 24XX W Augusta. Multiple calls, disturbance on scene.
9:56am - Suspicious person. Damen and Thomas. Four male Blacks in their late teens and early 20s with backpacks, two with baseball caps on, were loitering in the alley and are now heading south towards Augusta. Caller is concerned that they might start tagging the area.
10:05am - Theft. Western and Madison. At the Walgreens. Male Black in his 60s, who was last seen wearing a black t-shirt stole a bag full of items and then fled towards Campbell on Madison.
10:08am - Gang disturbance. Huron and Ashland. Group of gangbangers gathering because of a shrine that's over there.
10:09am - 1324 is coding out the 10:08am job. No one's out there.
10:10am - EMS run. 35XX W Pierce. Very ill woman needs to be checked on.
10:12am - Theft. 21XX W Haddon. Male Hispanic with a white/red shirt took something.
10:17am - A flash is being given from the 10:12am job. The offender is a male Hispanic, early 20s, light complected with the white/red t-shirt. It's only got a little bit of red on it. He stole a radio out of the caller's son's car. He fled east on Haddon towards Hoyne.

10:32am - Disturbance. 8XX N Winchester. Neighbors are upset about the tree-trimming crew completey blocking the street and not letting them into their homes.
10:34am - Suspicious package. 16XX W Pierce. A gray/black package is on the caller's back porch.

10:39am - An RD number is being pulled from the 10:12am job. It's HV378942 with the event number of 05960.
10:45am - Burglary in progress. XX N Kedzie. Four male Whites breaking into an apartment.
10:46am - The 10:45am job was called in by an off-duty P.O. who had called a little while ago about the management building escorting someone in or something.

12:32pm - Suspicious vehicle. Huron and Western. Green SUV was just parked in the middle of the street and the driver got out of the car, then walked off and left the car there with it's door wide open.

2:49pm - Burglary in progress. 14XX W Blackhawk. Neighbor's apartment door was just kicked in and two males are breaking in. The neighbor's not home.
