Good afternoon, everyone, it's 4:56pm. It's a mostly cloudy afternoon with temps in the upper 90s. It's been really hot today, and it's going to storm now. I'm monitoring only Zone 12 today. Sorry I haven't really been around in the last few days. Also, this blog's been around now for a year, and I just realized that, so a happy one-year anniversary to this blog, and many years more! Lastly, I'm fully aware of the homicide that took place last night on the 1700 block of N Luna in the community, and I'll have a post up about it sometime tomorrow. It was a real sad event. 6:31pm - EMS run. 49XX W Quincy. 34 year old male overdosed.

7:53pm - 1) Check the well being. 22XX N LaCrosse. 2) Narcotics. On 2532's Beat. 3) Burglar report. On 2534's Beat.

8:58pm - 1) Vicious animal. 56XX W Fulton. Caller's trapped in their gate because there's a vicious dog there. 2) Traffic accident. North and Pulaski.

9:16pm - Battery in progress. 14XX N Lockwood. Fight in front.

9:26pm - 1) Disturbance. 1900 N Karlov. 2) Disturbance. Keystone and Cortland. 3) Disturbance. 28XX N Natchez.

9:47pm - 1) Disturbance. 1400 N Karlov. 2) Suspicious person. 54XX W Harrison. Guy in the alley trying to get in a fence.

9:49pm - Shots Fired. 8XX N Leamington. Gunshots being fired on the street.

9:56pm - Beat car 2531 has a street stop at 4100 W Grand.

10:00pm - Person w/ a gun. 1400 N Linder. Two males in white t-shirts have guns.

10:38pm - Battery in progress. Wabansia and Laramie.

10:43pm - Shots Fired. Lockwood and Altgeld. Five heard.
