Burglar Alarm On Chicago, Parker On 1512's Beat

Good morning, everyone, it's 9:15am. It's a warm, partly cloudy day with temps around 80 right now. It's supposed to approach 100 today. I'm just monitoring Zone 12 today, until 4pm. Here's crime.

9:17am - 1) Burglar alarm. 58XX W Chicago. 2) Parker. On 1512's Beat.

10:47am - Check the well being. 7XX N Latrobe. Caller found blood all over their car.

11:13am - Beat 1541 is on the Adams and Laramie detail for a little while.

11:15am - Traffic accident. 54XX W Jackson. Injures.

11:19am - 10-1. 10-1. 5430 W Jackson. Cook County Sheriff is calling a 10-1. There was a call of an accident here four minutes ago.

11:20am - Beat 1552 is giving a disregard on Jackson. Everything's ok.

11:32am - Person w/ a gun. 1000 N Cicero. Group of people threatening the caller, and the one with the gun is a male Black, no shirt, black pants and blue boxer shorts.

11:33am - 1) Person wanted. Central and Chicago. Male Black, dreadlocks and white tanktop is on the caller's stolen bike. 2) Traffic accident. 6054 W Fullerton.

11:35am - EMS run. 28XX N Parkside. Man down, not moving. He's got an open case of beer with him.

11:36am - Beat car 1523 is asking for a call back on the Central/Chicago job.

11:37am - 1) 1523 says nevermind, the caller just found them. 2) Beat 1561Eddie is dispersing three for gang loitering at 51XX W Ferdinand. Console time is 11:37 and the event number is 08374.

11:38am - Parker. On 2522's Beat.

11:41am - Narcotics. On 2513's Beat. Selling.

11:45am - Check the well being. 6XX N Laramie. Baby wrapped in something brown.

12:08pm - Battery victim injured. West Suburban Hospital.

12:09pm - EMS run. 16XX N Lamon. Unresponsive male.

12:11pm - Information for the CPD. 57XX W Superior. Gang-related.


12:17pm - Battery in progress. Ferdinand and Lamon. Three females jumping on one.

12:22pm - Beat 2550 is going to do an outdoor roll call at Lawler and Division. She's serving the officers with popsicles and other treats. Beat cars 2511, 2512 and 2531 are going, along with Beats 2541, 2542, 2548 and 2552. Event number is 09267.

12:25pm - Beat 2554 has a street stop at 3842 W Division and would like to have an event number for it.

12:27pm - Suspicious person. 29XX N Merrimac. Male Black, 30s, yellow/orange vest is claiming that he works for ComED but doesn't have an I.D. or a vehicle. He's going through the gangways.

12:38pm - Burglary in progress. 25XX N Menard. Two males tampering with the back door, trying to break in.

12:39pm - Beat 2561Eddie has a fight breaking out at LeMoyne and Central, couple of units needed. Beat cars 2523 and 2531, along with Beats 2541 and 2542.

12:40pm - Things are getting a little out of hand over at LeMoyne/Central, so the units are being asked to step it up. There's calls coming in now for this big fight.

12:41pm - 2552 is giving a disregard at LeMoyne/Central, everything's under control.

12:44pm - Battery report. West Suburban Hospital. From Cicero and Race.

12:50pm - 1) Suspicious object. 16XX N Oak Park. Orange backpack in the alley. 2) EMS is looking for the victim from that fight at LeMoyne/Central, but they're at LeMoyne and Cicero. Dispatch is going to call them back to give them the proper location.

12:53pm - The 12:38pm job isn't a burglarly, its just people there to work on the house. 2515 is over there writing contact cards now.

12:59pm - 1) Beat 1506David is dispersing one for narcotics loitering at 54XX W Washington. Console time is 12:59 and the event number is 09975. 2) Holding the offender. 6525 W Diversey. At the Target.

1:03pm - Reckless driver. Pulaski and North Ave.

1:04pm - CFD run. 24XX N Oak Park. Baby locked in a car. It's in a gray Ford Focus.

1:05pm - 1) Battery in progress. 5500 W North Ave. Group of kids fighting. 2) Beat 2561 is requesting special attention for the LeMoyne/Central intersection. There's still a lot of people milling around out there and what not. It's going to be a problem intersection all night.

1:06pm - 2531 and 2541 are going to camp out at LeMoyne/Central for a while. They're noticing the same thing as 2561 is.

1:14pm - Residential alarm. 30XX N New England.

1:20pm - Theft. 5000 W Madison. Two males just snatched the caller out of their car and took off in it. They're in a green minivan with a plate of 927N216, which took off east towards Lamon.

1:31pm - Sellings in 15.

1:33pm - Disturbance. Chicago and Cicero. Male harassing the caller.

1:35pm - Traffic accident. 49XX W Superior.

1:37pm - Check the well being. 10XX N Lockwood. Young male caller says someone's threatening him.

1:39pm - Theft in progress. 17XX N Mango. Two males by a garage trying to open up a car.

1:43pm - A slow down is being given on the 1:43pm job per 2550.

1:44pm - And now 2550's giving a disregard over there on Mango.

1:45pm - 2512 has a handwaver at Normandy and Altgeld about kids left in a car. I'm thinking this is related to the 1:04pm job, but you never know.

1:48pm - Assault. 48XX W Gladys.

1:52pm - There's a big hole in the street at 5000 on Van Buren.

1:53pm - EMS run. 4003 W Armitage. Man passed out inside a restrauant.

1:54pm - There is a hole in the street on Van Buren, per Beat 1577Sam. Streets and San needs to be notified.

2:20pm - CTA bus alarm. Van Buren and Laramie. CTA bus #1048 has its slient alarm sounding. Headed south towards Congress.

2:22pm - EMS run. 48XX W Gladys. Elderly woman fell down the stairs.

2:23pm - Suspicious person. On 2514's Beat.

2:26pm - Information for the CPD. On 2561Boy's PDT.

3:21pm - Disturbance. 4514 W Diversey. At the Burger King. Male causing a ruckus.

3:25pm - 1) Burglar alarm. 49XX W Congress. 2) Burglar alarm. 49XX W Jackson.

3:27pm - 1) Backlog in 15 at 15:27 hours. 2) Battery victim injured. 59XX W Belden.

3:28pm - Beat 2584 is on the Conflict Zone mission for today. Event number is 12974.

3:32pm - Beat car 2535 has a traffic stop at 4700 W Armitage.

3:43pm - Open hydrant. New England and Schubert.

3:53pm - Burglar alarm. 4807 W Madison. At the dental center.

4:05pm - Person wanted. 52XX S Ashland.

4:07pm - Theft. 12XX W Loyola. Male White, white/reddish hair with a blue shirt, just stole something. Ran west towards Lakewood.

4:10pm - The 4:07pm offender is supposedly near Albion and Bosworth now, over by Sullivan High School.
