Speed Chase In Austin Neighborhood/Oak Park

Good evening, everyone, it's 6:58pm. It's a partly cloudy evening out there with temps in the mid 30s. Hopefully things will be calm this evening on the Zones. I'll mainly be monitoring Zone 12, but will do a little of Zones 10 and 2, along with Citywide 2, too. Here's crime for this portion of the evening.

6:59pm - Speed chase. Speed chase. Division and Lockwood. A green Kia is coming up hot and CPD is pursing the vehicle. Beat 2561David is chasing. It's heading south on Lockwood, towards Thomas.

7:00pm - Approaching Crystal on Lockwood.

7:01pm - Turning west onto Potomac from Lockwood.

7:02pm - Passing Long on Potomac.

7:03pm - In the east alley of Central, near Potomac.

7:04pm - Passing Austin on Potomac.

7:05pm - South on Linden from Division. They're in Oak Park now. Oak Park PD is being notified.

7:06pm - South from Chicago Avenue on Linden. Beat 2561 is asking officers to terminate the chase.

7:07pm - 2561D is ending the chase at Erie and Elmwood in Oak Park. Oak Park PD is still chasing.

7:08pm - North on Lombard from Erie. It's now a foot chase.

7:11pm - Haven't heard anything else, really, on the chase.

7:19pm - 1) Person w/ a knife. King Drive and 63rd. Male in the McDonalds has a knife. 2) 2561D and the other officers involved in the chase have three offenders in custody, but are looking for a fourth offender.

7:21pm - Robbery. 3053 W Cermak. Male Black with brown clothing just took an I-Phone from someone.

7:22pm - Traffic accident. 30XX S Rockwell.

7:23pm - 1) Disturbance. 1X S Kilbourn. Males loitering. 2) Disturbance. 44XX W Thomas. Males loitering. 2) Information for the CPD. 5XX N Springfield.

7:24pm - A 4400 unit has a traffic stop at Maypole and Killpatrick.

7:25pm - The 7:22pm job is now coming in as a "Assist the P.O." call. Off-duty police officer is reporting that it was a hit and run involving them.

7:28pm - Disturbance. 900 W Winsdor. Three male Blacks loitering near the corner and anonymous caller wants them relocated.

7:31pm - Person w/ a knife. 720 S Cicero. Three male Blacks just jumped over the turnstities where you pay your fare at and one has a knife.

7:34pm - Robbery. 5454 W Fullerton. The flower shop was just held up.

7:38pm - 1) A slow down is being given on the 7:34pm job. 2) Gang disturbance. LaCrosse and Armitage.

7:40pm - Burglar alarm. 4XX N Waller.

8:00pm - I have to go. I'll be back sometime this week or on the weekend. Good night, everyone.
