Happy Thanksgiving

Good morning, everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving! It's 11:30am. It's a cloudy and a bit cold, but hey, wouldn't be Thanksgiving if it wasn't like that. Today, I'm going to monitor just about every Zone, since it's a holiday. I hope all of you will enjoy today's crime report, and may everyone have a very Happy Thanksgiving! Here's cirme for today.

11:32am - Beat 1988 is doing a premise check at the Belmont CTA Station.

11:33am - Bus alarm. 4400 N Clark. On CTA bus #4158.

11:34am - Burglar alarm. 34XX N Bosworth.

11:37am - Assault. 20XX W Montrose. Caller's wife was just threatened by the neighbor.

11:41am - Person stabbed. 3838 N Broadway. At the Chateau Hotel.

11:42am - A slow down is being given on the 11:34am job.

11:43am - A slow down is being given on the 11:33am job.

11:44am - A slow down is being given on the 11:37am job.

11:45am - A slow down is being given on the 11:41am job.

12:01pm - Request for a supervisor. 74XX S Phillips.

12:17pm - Beat 1074 needs a couple of cars at Kedzie and 15th. A man just entered the store with a gun.

12:19pm - Beat 1030 is giving a slow down on the 12:17pm thing.

12:24pm - Battery in progress. Iowa and Pulaski. Group of guys fighting.

12:33pm - Commercial alarm. 935 N Michigan.

1:00pm - I'm going to go until later. I'll be back, starting with Zone 12.

7:22pm - I'm back for now. Good evening to all.

7:24pm - Shots Fired. 49XX W Altgeld.

7:33pm - Criminal trespass in progress. 1234 N Monticello. At the Cameron school.

7:34pm - A slow down is being given on the 7:24pm job.

7:54pm - Threatening suicide. 37XX S Wells. Son's trying to kill himself.

7:55pm - Battery in progress. 21XX W 52nd. Group fighting in front.

8:01pm - I need to go offline for a couple of minutes. Standby...

8:04pm - I'm back and a slow down is being given on a 10-1 at 1226 E 108th St.

8:07pm - 1) Check the well being. 11601 S Oakley. Male in the nursing home is all alone. 2) Disturbance w/ a mental. Halsted and 95th. Aboard CTA bus 1613 on route #95W heading to Evergreen Plaza is a male Black in his 50s, black jacket and black skull cap is threatening to shoot people. Call-taker heard him in the background. 3) Beat car 522 has a traffic stop at 116th and State.

8:09pm - Person w/ a knife. 116XX S Michigan. Alleged offenders who burned the caller's car are in front, threatening their son with a knife.

8:10pm - EMS run. 9XX E 131st. Male coughing up blood.

8:11pm - Beat 561Boy is on the scene of the 8:09pm job, saying they're looking for a male Black with a gray hoodie and a black vest. He's possibly at the gas station.

8:12pm - 1) Suspicious person. 102XX S Prospect. Male just walked into the caller's home and sat down. He's now in front. 2) Battery report. 89XX S Union. Caller was beaten up by a friend's father at this location.

8:14pm - 561B has three males stopped at 16 E 117th, related to the 8:09pm job.

8:19pm - Shots Fired. 57XX S Artesian. Four to five heard.

8:21pm - Beat 858 is saying the 8:19pm gunshots are possibly fireworks. A slow down is being given.

8:23pm - 1) Marquette Park 1 comes over Zone 6 to report that a white minivan nearly hit them head on at Rockwell and 72nd. 2) The 8:19pm job is coded 19P.

8:24pm - Traffic accident. 63rd and Carpentar. Two cars, injures.

8:25pm - 1) The Rockwell incident had the van heading towards 73rd on Rockwell. 2) Theft in progress. 255 W 63rd. Male with a black hoodie is stealing.

8:27pm - Beat car 733 wants to be held down at the 69th Red Line station.

8:28pm - Beat car 821 has a traffic stop at 3045 W 63rd.

8:29pm - Assist the citizen. 64XX S Menard. Caller needs help returning their child home. Custody issue.

8:40 to 11:40pm - Fell asleep. I'm sorry.

11:58pm - Battery report. Somewhere in 13 or 14. Caller was beaten up in a bar.

11:59pm - I'm getting word of some incident that occurred over in the area of Wolcott and Grenshaw related to UIC. They've got the SWAT team over there and everything.
