Good morning, everyone, it's 8:09am. It's a sunny morning with temps in the teens, and today will remain this way with temps getting into the lower 20s. I'm monitoring Zone 12 mostly today, but will also monitor Zones 3 and 10 a bit this evening. Here's crime for today.

8:12am - Parker. On 2521's Beat.

8:41am - Beat car 1533 has a traffic stop at Madison and Laramie.

8:50am - Traffic accident. 6XX N Lotus.

9:13am - Beat 1583 is doing a CTA check at the Central Green Line station.

9:47am - Criminal trespass. 4254 W Potomac. People taking things from the abandoned building.

9:49am - Check the well being. 14XX N Linder. Some kind of medical alarm is going off at this location.

10:01am - Traffic accident. Austin and Jackson. Hit-and-run.

10:29am - Person Shot. 48XX W Van Buren. Man shot in the leg.

10:30am - A citizen just called to say that the offenders, two male Blacks, fled in a brown Ford Taurus.

10:31am - Shooting is bona fide. 1533 is on scene. Victim says he heard a shot then was shot in the leg.

10:32am - A witness is telling Beat car 1532 that an older model brown Ford Taurus 4-door fled south in the west alley of Cicero from Van Buren.

10:33am - The offender might be a male Black Hispanic. He's light-skinned, last seen wearing an orange jacket, black jogging pants and white gym shoes.

10:34am - Beat car 1524 has the crime scene.

10:36am - An RD number has pulled from the shooting. It's HW132126 with the event number of 05340.

11:16am - Traffic accident. Loretto Hospital. Ambulance 7 is involved in an accident.

11:17am - There's a little more information coming out from the shooting. Wanted now is a early 90s Mercury Sable Ford Taurus, tan or gold in color. It had three occupants. Originally, the driver was the one who was shooting, but once he did the shooting, he jumped into the front passenger seat.

12:08pm - Beat car 2533 has a handwaver on North and they're telling her that there's a large crowd gathering at LeMoyne and Linder, possibly because of the shooting that happened a few days ago on North Ave.

12:11pm - There is indeed a large crowd in the "Conflict Zone" area, but they're at Luna and LeMoyne.

12:18pm - Beat car 2531 is at Luna/LeMoyne and he's saying that the large crowd is supposed to be headed to the funeral in a few minutes for the guy killed on North a few days ago at Jackson and Western.

12:33pm - 2531 is saying that the crowd is finally moving out from Luna/LeMoyne, there's a couple of limos on scene picking up people.

12:39pm - Now the crowd is finally cleared out. 2531 is advising Dispatch to let the 11th and 12th Districts know about these people coming into their Districts, as they might cause problems.

1:03pm - Traffic accident. XX N Lockwood. Car hit the caller's garage.

1:27pm - Gang disturbance. 3855 W Grand.

1:35pm - Beat 2582 is doing foot patrol on Fullerton from Cicero to Keeler. Event number is 08010.

1:43pm - Beat 2563Boy needs a car to do a transport for two for them at the 1:27pm job.

2:05pm - Person w/ a gun. 48XX W Rice. Unknown offender pulled a gun out on the caller's son.

2:08pm - Battery. 5714 W North Ave. Caller was attacked by an unknown offender.

2:17pm - Beat 2583Foot is doing foot patrol on Diversey from Cicero to Kilbourn, as usual, this afternoon. Event number is 08568.

2:18pm - Burglar alarm. 31XX N Oriole.

2:26pm - Disturbance. 4700 W North Ave. Male in a black car is blocking the entrance to the car wash, refuses to move.

2:52pm - 1) Burglary report. On 2521's Beat. 2) Narcotics. LaPorte and Maypole.

3:39pm - Beat car 1511 has a traffic stop at 5958 W Chicago.

5:13pm - Burglar alarm. 11XX N Waller.

5:14pm - 1) Burglar alarm. On 2533's Beat. 2) Municipal ordinance violation. On 2533's Beat.

5:15pm - Traffic accident. North and Kostner.

5:18pm - Narcotics. 3135 N Central. Selling.

5:30pm - 2582 is reporting that the street lights are out on Fullerton from Kenton to Kostner.

5:57pm - Burglary in progress. 15XX N Mason.

6:01pm - Beat 1595 has a traffic stop at 5516 W Madison.

6:16pm - EMS run. 5469 W North Ave.

6:50pm - Beat car 1533 has a traffic stop at 48XX W Lexington.

6:51pm - Theft. 1440 N Kostner. At the Aldi. Customer stole some merchandise yesterday, store manager has the incident on tape.

6:54pm - 1) Narcotics. 5360 W Division. 2) Disturbance. 1700 N Lockwood.

6:57pm - Shots Fired. Mango and Belden. Five shots fired.

6:58pm - 1) Shots Fired. Belden and Long. Four shots heard, black car seen fleeing the area. 2) Beat 2566 and his team are doing a combined mission with the 16th and 17th Districts this evening. Event number is 12502.

6:59pm - Commercial alarm. 5425 W Lake. At the health center.

7:01pm - Disturbance. On 2514's Beat.

7:09pm - Burglar alarm. 23XX W Randolph.

7:15pm - Beat 1444 is going to be a "box" mission from Division to North Ave., Central Park to California, and they can only take calls in that box.

7:17pm - Beat car 1114 has a traffic stop at Kedzie and Washington.
