Good evening, everyone, it's 5:42pm. It's a clear evening with temps in the mid 30s, and it will remain this way with temps dropping into the 20s tonight. I'm monitoring Zone 12 for the most part for an hour or two, but will also monitor Zones 1 and 10 briefly this evening around 6:30pm. With that, here's crime for this early evening.
5:43pm - Narcotics. North and Mason. Selling.
6:00pm - Beat 2510 is doing a park check at Rils.
6:07pm - Beat 2585 is requesting four event numbers for this evening. The first one is for Beat 2542's post-shooting mission on the 5100 block of W. Oakdale, the second one is for Beat 2546's auto theft mission District-wide, the third one is for 2584's North Ave. detail and the fourth one is 2585's Division St. detail. 2542's event number is 11751, 2546 is 11755, 2584 is 11759 and 2585 is 11763.
6:09pm - Beat 4513 is doing an anti-violence mission with her team this evening in 15. The event number is 11786.
6:10pm - Theft. 3XX N Lorel. Two males just broke into the caller's car, one had on a red hoodie. They used a stick to break in.
6:11pm - Fireworks (or Shots Fired). Oleander and Barry. 10 fireworks or gunshots heard.
6:16pm - Beat 1586 is doing a premise check at XX N Central.
6:24pm - Hold-up alarm. 29XX N Kilbourn.
6:32pm - Disturbance. Irving Park/Milwaukee Ave./Cicero. Male aggressively panhandling in the middle of the street.
6:37pm - Battery victim injured. 15XX S Ridgeway. 21 year old male was jumped.
6:38pm - 1) Narcotics. Sacramento and Harrison. Two males selling. 2) Narcotics. 42XX W Gladys. Three males on the corner smoking weed.
6:46pm - 1) Gambling. 7XX N Mayfield. Dice game. 2) Narcotics. 1100 block of S Mason. Kids smoking dope.
6:49pm - Child left alone. 28XX N Natoma. Child by himself is walking a pit bull.
7:14pm - Beat 4513Eddie has a street stop at XX S Lockwood.
7:16pm - Check the well being. 1XX N LaCrosse. Elderly male got in his car at 1pm this afternoon and started it, but hasn't came out and the car's still running.
