Males Talking Too Loud @ Thomas/Waller, Selling On Monroe

Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. It's a clear overnight with temps in the mid 60s, and today will be sunny with temps in the lower 90s. Sorry for not really blogging yesterday, but I became overwhelmingly busy with other obligations. I'll try not to have that happen again. I intend on monitoring Zone 12 for the most part today, but will monitor some other Zones as well. Here's crime for today.

12:01am - Disturbance. Thomas and Waller. Group of males loitering on the corner, talking too loud and drinking.

12:02am - 1) Narcotics. 48XX W Monroe. Male named Timothy is selling in front. 2) Burglar alarm. 5346 W North Ave.

9:30am - Battery in progress. 2100 block of N LeClaire. Group of males fighting in the alley between LeClaire and Lawler.

9:33am - Disturbance. 423 N Laramie. At the Belmont Liquor store. Six males in front harassing people.

9:35am - Narcotics. 900 N Long. Selling.

9:40am - I need to go run some errands. I'll be back later. See you all later.

4:52pm - Battery in progress. 5921 W Division. Two females fighting in front of the Sunset Liquors.

4:53pm - Check the well being. 49XX W Augusta. Female wearing all yellow is in a boarded up building with a baby, caller is concerned about the baby.

5:00pm - 1) Battery in progress. 1XX N Mayfield. People fighting in front. 2) Animal bite. Loretto Hospital.

5:16pm - 1) Suspicious vehicle. 26XX N Merrimac. Two females sitting in a green van in front. 2) Traffic accident. 14XX N Leamington. Property damage only.

5:19pm - Disturbance. 7XX N Waller. People making noise.

5:26pm - Vice complaint. On 2532's Beat.

5:32pm - 1) Battery in progress. Cicero and George. Several people beating one with sticks. 2) Backlog in 15 at 17:32 hours.

5:33pm - Disturbance. 13XX N Kildare. Six males in front blocking the enterance, on-going problem.

5:46pm - 1) Disturbance. 21XX N Mulligan. 2) Disturbance. 29XX N Nagle. 3) Disturbance. 28XX N Marmora. 4) Disturbance. 12XX N Springfield. 5) Missing person report. On 2521's Beat. 6) Burglary report. 5801 W Fullerton.

5:52pm - Battery in progress. 4821 W North Ave. Group of people fighting in front of the Food4Less.

5:56pm - EMS run. Maypole and Cicero. Male fell off the curb, hit his head, is bleeding and now isn't moving.

5:58pm - Burglar alarm. 47XX W Wrightwood.

6:04pm - 1) Commercial alarm. 26XX N Major. 2) Disturbance. 31XX N Natoma.

6:05pm - Battery report. West Suburban Hospital.

6:46pm - Disturbance. 5600 W Wabansia. Group of males loitering.

7:01pm - Beat car 2535 is on a traffic stop at 15XX N Hamlin.

7:02pm - 1) Assault in progress. 2217 N Harlem. 2) Disturbance w/ a mental. Laramie and Chicago. Male Black, dark complected with no shirt is dancing in the middle of the street and jumping in front of traffic.

7:09pm - 2535 is taking in one from the 7:01pm stop.

7:10pm - Beat car 1511 has a traffic stop at Chicago and Leamington.

7:15pm - Beat 1790 needs more cars right away at 4152 N Pulaski. There was just a "person w/ a gun" call over there and I guess he sees the perp. Multiple units en route.

7:17pm - Suspicious person. 62XX N Mozart.

7:18pm - Theft. State and Madison. Shoplifter stole some things at the Sears.

7:25pm - Beat 1957 has a street stop at Grace and Clark.

8:00pm - Loud music disturbance. 100 N Lockwood.

8:01pm - Suspicious package. 18XX N Keystone. Medium-sized black bag in the middle of the street with a foul smell to it.

8:10pm - Beat 2544, the responding unit, needs a supervisor at the 8:01pm job. The bag is in the alley and they're not sure what's in it. Beat 2550 is coming over.

10:14pm - Person w/ a gun. 2XX N Lorel. Group of males gambling and a gun was just seen.

10:29pm - Criminal trespass. 5200 block of W Galewood. Three males walking on the roof of a building.

10:49pm - Beat 4541Boy is writing a couple of ANOVs at 5600 W North Ave.

10:54pm - 1) Assault in progress. 51XX W George. Group of teens looking to beat up someone, have unknown objects in their hands. 2) Narcotics. 5400 W Iowa. 3) Narcotics. 900 N Long.

11:05pm - Loud music disturbance. 29XX N Natchez.

11:08pm - Vice complaint. 56XX W Washington.

11:12pm - Battery in progress. 51XX W Schubert. Two females and a guy fighting.
