Good morning, everyone, it's 9:30am. Season's greetings to all. I hope everyone is having a very happy Christmas Eve, and I hope everyone is spending time with their family and friends, and experiencing the bustling joy of the holiday season. I am monitoring all of the Zones today. I'm going to blog from now until 12:45pm, then again from 9:30 until 11pm. So with that, here's crime in Chicago for portions of today.

9:54am - Robbery in progress. Huron and Trumbull. Three males beating up on one, robbing him in the process.

9:58am - A slow down is being given on the 9:54am job. No one's out there right now.

10:16am - Beat 184Lincoln is doing a CTA platform check at State and Lake.

10:20am - Beat car 413 needs another car at 89th and Jeffrey.

10:22am - Missing person report. 122 W 79th. Caller's son went into the store at this location and hasn't came out.

10:23am - Disturbance w/ a mental. 79XX S Crandon. 14 year old son is trying to jump out of the window. People are holding him down.

10:25am - 1) Suspicious vehicle. 8600 S Cottage Grove. 2) Beat 401 is doing a POD mission for the POD Camera at 1201 E 87th St. Event number is 05192.

10:26am - Beat car 532 has a traffic stop at 108XX S Edbrooke.

10:28am - Battery in progress. 9XX W 100th. Male Black with a black jacket and black pants is beating up another male in front.

10:31am - 1) Reckless driver. Damen and Marquette. Car with a plate of K409189 is speeding north towards 66th at a high rate of speed. 2) Burglar alarm. 81XX S Claremont.

10:34am - Disturbance. 63rd and Morgan. Dispute in the store over change.

10:48am - Check the well being. 44XX S Wells. Something about a landlord and a 74 year old.

10:52am - Beat car 234 is chasing a male offender, heading south on Prairie from 58th.

11:07am - Theft. 6623 N Ridge. At the Dominick's. Male offender stole some grocery items from the store.

11:11am - Beat 2462David is doing a narcotics dispersal at 1601 W Howard.

11:15am - Check the well being. 37XX S Wells.

11:18am - Burglar alarm. 13XX W 33rd St.

11:25am - Criminal trespass in progress. 5352 S Wood. Male going through the rear window of the vacant building.

11:33am - Suspicious vehicle. 33XX N Karlov. Car that doesn't belong in the neighborhood is parked there.

12:03pm - Beat car 1312 asks for a robbery mission on the Beat.

12:09pm - Beat car 1313 is doing a Community Concern at 9XX N Franscisco.

12:11pm - Burglar alarm. 1551 W Division. At the Evil Olive.

12:26pm - Some call in 15. Beat 1554 was dispatched to it. I believe it was a burglar alarm.

12:39pm - Traffic accident, somewhere on Laramie.

9:33pm - Battery in progress. 6XX W 46th St. People fighting.

9:38pm - Reckless driver. Western and 51st. Car speeding towards 50th on Western at a high rate of speed.

9:44pm - 1) Criminal trespass. 35XX S Wentworth. 2) Disturbance. 32XX S Wallace. 30 males drinking in the hallway.

9:48pm - Suspicious person. 42XX W Melrose.

10:06pm - Parker. 35XX W LeMoyne. Car blocking the driveway.

10:07pm - Narcotics. 2748 W Madison. At the store. Male Black, early to mid 20s, 5'7, slim build, 160 lbs, black jacket tried to sell drugs to a female customer.

10:13pm - Disturbance. Milwaukee and Augusta. "Addicts" panhandling in the street.

10:38pm - Beat 1656 is hearing five to six loud reports about three blocks east of Cicero, near Barry. Possibly around the 3100 block of Kenton or Kolmar.

10:44pm - An officer is saying all of those "loud reports" are fireworks. They're being fired off on the 3100 block of N Knox.

10:56pm - Check the well being. 24XX N Meade. Something about the stepmother.
