New Year's Eve (2013)
Good afternoon, everyone, it's 1:00pm. Happy New Year's Eve to all. Hard to believe 2013 is just about over with 2014 at the doorstep. This year was very interesting, to say the least, because of all that I've been through personally and things I've observed. This year is ending on a good note and next year will be even better. Today, I'm monitoring on a special schedule, starting off with Zone 6, from now until 1:10. Afterwards, I will be monitoring Zone 10 from 1:10 to 1:20. Following that will be Zones 12, 8, 7, 9, 13, 3, 4, 2, 11 and lastly but not least, 1. These Zones will be monitored on 10-minute intervals and will end by 3:00. I will start my second round of monitoring at 6:30 and will monitor the Zones on 15-minute intervals in the same order (Zones 6, 10, 12, 8, etc.) until 9:30. After 9:30, depending on which Zones are the busiest, I will monitor those Zones on 20-minute intervals until midnight. With that, here's crime for this last day of 2013.
1:05pm - Sex offense. 5600 S Pulaski. Two people having sex in a car.
1:10pm - Sex offense. 31XX S Millard. Two people in a black car are exposing themselves.
1:11pm - Check the well being. 28XX W 21st Pl. Caller said they had a problem with two guys then the phone disconnected.
1:12pm - 1) Traffic accident. 4801 W Madison. 2) Burglar alarm. 3855 W Harrison. At the church.
1:37pm - Burglary. 90XX S Escanaba. Male Black, early 20s, light complected, black hoodie with dreads just broke into the caller's house.
1:41pm - Traffic accident. Marquette and South Shore Dr. Two cars, property damage only.
1:51pm - Person wanted. Michigan and 111th. Male Black with a 3 tattooed on his face, a blue hoodie, gray hat, blue jumpsuit and black coat is wanted for stealing the caller's iPhone.
1:55pm - 1) Disturbance. 9811 S Halsted. 2) Disturbance. 93XX S Lafflin.
1:56pm - Alarm. 99XX S Lowe.
2:11pm - Person wanted. Harrison and Western. Two male Blacks who are wanted for something jumped into a gray car and fled west on Harrison towards Campbell.
2:25pm - Battery in progress. 1619 S Michigan. Female beating up an employee.
2:28pm - Beat 172 is giving a slow down on the 2:25pm job. She's gone.
2:32pm - Traffic accident. Sheridan and Belmont. Two cars.
2:59pm - Disturbance w/ a mental. 3554 N Central. At OLR. High risk son refuses to go into the emergency room.

6:36pm - Suspicious vehicle. 70XX S May. Gray car parked in the back of this location for about 15 minutes.
6:42pm - Disturbance. 3803 W Roosevelt. At the gas station. Ten teens loitering, refusing to leave.
6:50pm - Beat 1042 has a traffic stop at 13XX S Independence Blvd.
6:51pm - Check the well being. 4100 block of W Monroe.
6:53pm - Parker. On 1135's Beat.
7:18pm - Beat car 612 has a taser deployment at 79XX S Throop. The officers are okay but the offender is injured. EMS is needed.
7:21pm - Person down. 78XX S Honore. Man down in the gangway.
7:22pm - 1) Traffic accident. 7901 S Kingston. 2) Traffic accident. Manistee and 95th.
7:23pm - Beat 662Adam has a street stop at 78XX S Greenwood.
7:25pm - A unit has a traffic stop at 81st and Paulina.
7:56pm - Assist the citizen. 314 E 103rd. At the hair salon. Male in a burgundy has been sitting in front for an hour and the caller would like an escort home, they're concerned about being robbed.
7:57pm - Beat 4257Boy has a traffic stop at Wabash and 107th.
8:00pm - Battery in progress. 111th and Halsted. Group of males fighting.
8:02pm - Traffic accident. Ashland and Garfield. Two cars.
8:05pm - Beat 4154Paul is doing a park check at Davis Square. Event number is 11866.
8:06pm - Beat car 922 has on-view "Shots Fired" at 43rd and Richmond. Two to three fired.
8:08pm - They've got some shell casings from 922's on-view in the alley. They're talking to a couple of people as well.
8:19pm - Commercial alarm. 1845 W Grand.
8:38pm - Threatening suicide. 8 E Madison. Woman in the business threatening to kill herself.
8:42pm - Dispatch is advising all 18th District officers to extend parking to firefighters on Illinois between Orleans and LakeShore Drive. There's some kind of awards show going on over there.
8:43pm - Parker. State and Lake.
8:45pm - Disturbance. 1600 W Irving Park. Car blocking two lanes of traffic.
8:59pm - Disturbance w/ a mental. 27XX W Leland. Aggressive female patient trying to harm other patients.
9:10pm - Traffic accident. Devon and Sheridan. Two cars, pregnant female involved. EMS is en route.
9:18pm - Fire. Narragansett and Montrose. Garbage can behind Tom and Jerry's.
9:24pm - 1) Disturbance. Montrose and Kedzie. Man sleeping behind the McDonald's. 2) Loud music disturbance. 47XX W Addison. Neighbor is blasting their music.
9:27pm - There's no fire at Narragansett/Montrose. 19Paul.
9:30pm - Beat 4113David has a traffic stop at East End and 69th.
9:31pm - Beat 330 wants Dispatch to call him in regards to the plans he has for the officers when 2014 is ringed in.
9:34pm - Landlord/tenant dispute. 66XX S Evans. Tenants won't let the landlord in.
9:35pm - A unit is doing a premise check at XX E 75th.
9:38pm - Beats 307David and 307Henry are doing foot patrol at 71st and State.
9:39pm - 1) A unit has a street stop at Bennett and 71st. 2) Fire. 5XX E 60th St. Car.
9:41pm - Beat 363David has a street stop on 73rd between Merrill and Bennett.
9:43pm - 307D is dispersing one for narcotics. Console time is 21:43 hours and the event number is 13130.
9:46pm - Not sure what's going on at this location, but there's been a situation at 108th and Wabash. It's under control, though, and a gun has been recovered.
9:51pm - Beat 561Charlie has a foot chase at 107 W 103rd Pl. Headed southbound.
9:52pm - Some mention of a gun over there on 103rd Place.
9:54pm - The suspect was last seen between 103rd Place and 104th Street.
10:04pm - Disturbance. 113XX S Rockwell. 40 teens loitering with open alcohol.
10:25pm - Beat 4258 has a street stop at 79th and Exchange.
10:26pm - 1) Beat 4271Boy has a street stop at 78XX S Champlain. 2) Beat 4271David has a traffic stop at Dobson and 79th.
