Christmas Eve 2013 Coverage

Good afternoon everyone, it's 12pm. I hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas Eve with their friends and loved ones. I certainly am. This is a wonderful time of year. Today, I'm beginning my coverage with Zone 1 until 12:10, then it will be Zone 2 from 12:10 to 12:20, followed by Zones 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13. This will end at 2, and I will begin coverage again at 8, going in the reverse way. With that, here's crime for today.

12:00pm - Beat car 1632 needs a back-up unit at 36XX N Nottingham. No emergency. Beat car 1633 is coming over.

12:02pm - Beat 1662Eddie is getting a burglar alarm on their PDT.

12:32pm - Burglar alarm. 19XX N Howe.

12:36pm - Burglar alarm. 500 S LaSalle.

12:38pm - Holding the offender. 1210 N Clark. At the Jewel's.

12:41pm - Theft. 5220 S Pulaski Rd. At the Walgreen's.

12:42pm - Burglar alarm. 73XX S Stewart.

12:49pm - Disturbance. 7601 S Cicero. At the CTA bus turnaround.

1:02pm - 1) Burglar alarm. 2660 E 79th. At the Family Dollar. 2) Shots Fired. 81XX S Perry. Two males came in the caller's home and shot at them.

1:15pm - Shots Fired. 11800 S Marshfield. Near the Jewel's. Several gunshots fired in the mall parking lot. Couple of calls on it.

1:32pm - Burglar alarm. 77XX N Marshfield.
