Female Locks Herself In Dominick's Bathroom On Division

Good morning, everyone, it's 8:00am. It's a warm and sunny morning, with temps already approaching the mid 70s. Today will get into the lower 90s. Showers and storms are excepted today, too, with some severe ones possible. We'll see that goes. Today, I'm monitoring Zone 4 and Citywides 1, 2 and 3, as I'm listening to all the radio traffic for the NATO Summit. This should be really interesting. Here's crime for today.

8:06am - Theft. 424 W Division. At the Dominick's. Female locked herself in the bathroom with stolen merchandise.


8:15am - Theft. 401 W Armitage.

8:16am - Sex offense. 944 W Armitage. At the Armitage Brown Line station. Male Hispanic, 30s, black shirt, just exposed himself.

8:30am - I'm going to go until 9am. I'll be back then.

9:00am - And I'm back.

9:16am - 1) Burglar alarm. 18XX N Sedgwick. 2) Disturbance. Grand and State. Homeless male Black, 6'3, blue jeans with a cardboard sign is causing problems over there.

9:17am - Burglar alarm. 18XX S Indiana.

9:22am - 1) Barking dog. XX W 14th. 2) Marine Unit 5 is at Halsted and Chicago, on the river, and needs an event number for a boat stop. It's 07720.

9:45am - Commercial alarm. 29XX S Wabash.

9:54am - Beat 1890 needs EMS at Oak and Lakeshore Drive. Two bicyclists collied into each other.

10:20am - EMS run. 13XX N Cleveland. 44 year old has a physc history and something's wrong with her.

10:31am - Person down. North Branch and Division.

10:35am - Person down. Fullerton and Jansen. On the southeast corner.

10:37am - Disturbance. 412 S Wells. Three homeless males hanging out.

10:38am - Beat car 1834Robert is asking for a CTA station check at Merchandise Mart. Event number is 023921.

10:42am - Commercial alarm. 15XX N Dean.

10:43am - Robbery. 2000 N Clybourn. At Palm Beach Tanning. Female White, 20s, navy blue hoodie, khaki pants, red hair in a bun and sunglasses ran out of the front door northbound with $215.

11:14am - Traffic accident. 1000 S DesPlaines. Hit-and-run. Nissan with a plate of 597N584 fled south.

11:25am - Beat 1805 has a traffic stop at 13XX N LaSalle.

11:30am - Suspicious person. 1251 S Prairie. Six males sitting in front on the curb with baseball bats and backpacks. They've been there for two hours.

11:34am - Commercial alarm. 1611 N Sheffield.

12:28pm - Commercial alarm. 55 E Monroe.

12:33pm - Disturbance. 1800 N Clybourn. Male Black, black hat, blue shirt and black leather jacket is harassing people in the parking lot.

12:35pm - Reckless driver. Stockton and Fullerton. Male White in a car with a plate of J5590 is driving recklessly.

12:37pm - Check the well being. 14XX S Indiana. 96 year old man named Johnny Ray nees to be checked on.

12:40pm - Parker. 15XX N State Pkwy.

12:50pm - Criminal damage. 342 E Illinois. At Walgreens. The window was just busted out.

1:06pm - Commercial alarm. 528 N Halsted.

1:09pm - Commercial alarm. 443 W Huron.

1:10pm - Commercial alarm. 15XX N Cleveland.

1:22pm - Fire. 19XX N Bissell. Stove.

1:24pm - Burglar alarm. 12XX N State Pkwy.

1:41pm - Burglar alarm. 18XX S Federal.

1:43pm - Parker. On 1833's Beat.

1:48pm - Disturbance. 180 N Michigan Ave. Male refusing to leave.
