Drinkers On Kamerling, Parker On 2534's Beat

Good morning, everyone, it's 7:30am. It's a cloudy morning with temps in the lower 50s. It's supposed to get up about 70 today, with rain and thunderstorms likely. Some stronger thunderstorms possible this evening. Anyway, I'm monitoring Zone 12 from now until about 8:45am or so, then come back around 1:30pm until 3, and then around 8, I'm going to monitor other Zones, and then be gone for the night. Today, as I monitor to Zone 12, I will be paying special attention to calls on the north and west ends of 25, as well as the far west end of 15 (the 10 sector, Beats 1511-1513). We'll see how that goes. Here's crime for portions of today.

7:54am - Burglar alarm. 5202 W Grand. At the food market.

8:00am - Traffic accident. West End and Lamon.

8:20am - Traffic accident. 4600 W Diversey.

1:36pm - I'm back.

1:56pm - Person down. 31XX N Monitor.

2:09pm - Burglar alarm. 17XX N Major.

2:48pm - Beat 1561David is going in with two from a stop at 10XX N Massasoit.

2:56pm - Suspicious person. 56XX W Huron. Male came to the door, asking for someone who wasn't there.

8:15pm - Municipal ordinance violation. On 1632's Beat.

8:17pm - Got a foot chase in the alley between Oakley and Bell, in the 7500 block, near Birchwood. Beat 2463Adam is chasing a male named Calvin Lloyd, a male Black with a black hoodie.

8:18pm - Cavin's still running down the alley, now near Howard.

8:20pm - Cavin is now in custody. Howard and Ridge. In the alley.

8:26pm - Shots Fired/Person Shot. Hoyne and Maypole. Gunshots were fired and someone's laying in the street.

8:27pm - 1) Battery in progress. Chicago and Ridgeway. People fighting. 2) Reckless driver. 2500 W Jackson.

8:41pm - A DOA and a battery report at West Suburban Hospital.

8:46pm - Loud music disturbance. 21XX N Narranganset. Loud party.

8:53pm - Loud music disturbance. 16XX N Lotus.

8:54pm - Panic alarm. 14XX N Lotus.

9:57pm - EMS run. 5360 W Division. Unruly patient.

10:09pm - Shots Fired. Central and Wellington. Three heard.

10:22pm - Beat car 1513Robert has a street stop at Fillmore and Central.

10:23pm - Coyotes running loose in Columbus Park.

10:40pm - Some call at 29XX N Linder.

10:41pm - Burglar alarm. 5957 W Madison.

10:43pm - Loud music disturbance. 24XX N Monitor.

10:49pm - Beat car 1522R needs more cars on the 5500 block of W Congress. Large group over there acting up. They've been acting up all evening. There's been calls over there four or five times tonight, but I haven't put them up here as I've been only paying attention to the 10 sector of 15. 1572 is on their way.

10:51pm - A slow down is being given on the 10:49pm thing.

10:55pm - Burglar alarm. 55XX W Wrightwood.

11:00pm - Shots Fired. 6XX N Latrobe. Six heard.

11:01pm - Shots Fired. 500 block of N LeClarie. Seven heard.

11:03pm - 1) Burglar alarm. Grand and Narraganset. At the Aidi. 2) Two loud music disturbances on 2512's Beat.

11:04pm - 1) Disturbance. 5729 W Bloomingdale. At Galewood Park. Group of males playing basketball after park closing time. 2) Assault. 16XX N Parkside. Two males arguing and one threatened to shoot the other. The one threatening to shoot is a male Black, 23 years old with a dark gray hoodie and black pants.

11:06pm - Disturbance. 312 N Central. Neighbor harassing the caller.

11:25pm - They're calling back on the 5500 block of W Congress.

11:46pm - Beat car 2531R is patrolling the Conflict Zone this evening.

11:47pm - Disturbance. On 1511R's Beat.


11:52pm - 1) Loud music disturbance. 25XX N Laramie. 2) Gang disturbance. 5048 W Fullerton. Three of them out there, one in a orange sweater and the other two in black hoodies, are out in front, flashing gang signs and what not. One might have a gun.

11:55pm - Shots Fired. 3XX N Latrobe. Black Chevy Trailblazer with a plate of L607905 was just involved in an accident and some shots were fired. Caller was trying to get away.

11:58pm - A slow down is being given on the 11:55pm job. No shots fired, just an accident.
