Good morning, everyone, it's 10am. It's a sunny day with temps in the lower 50s, with sunshine going to stay for today and with temps getting into the lower to mid 60s. Some thunderstorms are possible later, though. I'm monitoring Zone 12 mostly today, but will monitor a little of Zone 3, too, and maybe some other Zones. We'll see how it goes. Here's crime for today.

10:25am - Narcotics. On 1561Charlie's PDT.

10:27am - Theft. 26XX N Mulligan. Caller's pit bull was stolen.

10:29am - Assault in progress. 56XX W Fullerton. Person who used to live on the 2nd floor and was evicted is now there, threatening the caller.

10:57am - Beat car 2531 and Beat 2584Foot are doing foot patrol at 5724 W North Ave., at the Austin Library.

11:01am - Disturbance. 5153 W Chicago. Male harassing people at the McDonalds.

11:02am - Narcotics. Hirsch and Kildare. Three males selling dope.

11:03am - Narcotics. 21XX N Parkside. Two male Hispanics selling dope.

11:16am - Beat 1556 has a traffic stop at 50XX W Quincy.

11:17am - Assault in progress. 1600 N Laramie. Large group of young people about to fight.

11:19am - Holding the offender. Oak Park and Belmont. Shoplifter at Walgreens.

11:23am - Criminal damage report. 5610 W Lake. At Austin Town Hall. Male Black, dark hoodie and black pants damaged the caller's car. He's not on scene.

11:29am - Holding the offender. 1601 N Harlem. At the Sears.


12:36pm - Holding the offender. 2520 N Narranganset. At the Jewel's. Shoplifter.

12:42pm - Municipal ordinance violation. Altgeld and Lotus. Construction workers blocking the street, might not have a permit.

12:43pm - Beat car 2534 has a handwaver at 4018 W North Ave.

1:12pm - Deceptive practice. Kostner and Grand. Someone's pulling a scam, pretending that their car is broken down.

1:18pm - Beat car 2514 has a handwaver at 3220 N Cicero. White car in the median has a kid left in there by theirself.

1:21pm - Narcotics complaints in 25.

1:30pm - 1) Animal abuse. 17XX N Mango. Dog tied up in the backyard. It has duct tape and gaws wrapped around on him, as it was in a fight. 2) Beat 2582 is doing foot patrol from Cicero to Kilbourn on Fullerton. Event number is 08570.'

1:36pm - Animal abuse. 26XX N Oak Park. Three guys teasing and taunting a little Begal (dog), making it run into the street so it gets hit by a car. Jerks...

1:38pm - Burglar alarm. 49XX W Parker.

1:39pm - 1) Narcotics. 52XX W Congress. 2) Narcotics. 48XX W Van Buren. 3) Gambling. 50XX W Quincy. 4) Narcotics. 53XX W Harrison.

1:42pm - Criminal damage. 118 S Cicero. Male Black wearing a red shirt and blue jeans broke out the window to the liquor store.

1:59pm - Beat 2561David is doing a narcotics dispersal at 10XX N. Menard, in the Conflict Zone. Dispatch is saying that it's not a hotspot. The officer tells her to disregard.

2:02pm - Check the well being. 19XX N Oak Park. Male Hispanic with a white shirt went into the location and now fighting can be heard.

2:09pm - Fire. 7351 W Belmont. Electrical box on fire, behind the vacant lot.

2:12pm - Beat 2541 is asking for a call back on the 2:02pm job.

2:26pm - Theft. 6XX N Lockwood. Three male Hispanics in a white flatbed tractor stole radidators from the location. They went north towards Chicago Ave. The tractor has a plate of L774545.

2:38pm - Disturbance. 11XX N Monitor.

3:37pm - 1) Narcotics. Augusta and Long. 2) Narcotics. 4900 W Hubbard. 3) Traffic accident. 48XX W Gladys.

5:53pm - Burglar report. 16XX N Merrimac.

6:09pm - Battery in progress. Central and West End. Fight.

6:10pm - Person w/ a gun. Diversey and Central. At the Citgo gas station. Male Hispanic with a red shirt, black pants and black or blue backpack has a gun, and it's in the backpack.

6:15pm - A slow down is being given on the 6:10pm job.

6:16pm - A code will be given shortly on the 6:10pm job. An employee.

6:19pm - Fire run. 17XX N Menard. Microwave.

6:20pm - 1) Missing person report. 8XX N Waller. 2) Disturbance. Parkside and Thomas. Loiters.

6:22pm - Assault in progres. Fulton and Cicero. Group of males about to jump on one.

6:23pm - Burglar report. 5XX N Central.

6:24pm - Gang disturbance. Moore Park. Large group of them loitering on the basketball court.

6:26pm - They're fighting at the 6:24pm job.

7:06pm - Narcotics. 30XX N Newcastle.

7:19pm - Battery in progress. Pulaski and Grenshaw. Group of males beating up on one.

7:20pm - Parker. Waveland and Clark. Car in the alley, blocking it. Behind one of the bars.

9:30pm - Check the well being. 13XX N Artesian. Child screaming.

9:39pm - A 14th District unit is doing a park check at Wicker. Event number is 17681.
