Good evening, everyone, it's 9:15pm. It's an overcast Sunday evening here in Chi-town. It's in the lower 60s right now. Tonight will get into the lower 50s. I'm monitoring only Zone 12 this evening. Here's crime.
9:17pm - Shots Fired. Washington and Menard.
9:32pm - 1) Disturbance. 5800 W Walton. People loitering. 2) Disturbance. 1XX N Lotus. 3) Battery in progress. Pine and Iowa. People fighting.
9:43pm - Battery in progress. 9XX N Pine. Large crowd brawling.
9:44pm - Some more cars needed on the 9:43pm job. Big crowd.
9:47pm - A disregard is being given on the 9:43pm job.
9:48pm - Assist the P.O. 1419 N Linder. Cook County Sheriff Probation Officer needs some help at the location.
9:49pm - A disregard is being given on the 9:48pm job. Everything's fine.
9:50pm - Gang or Tac unit being requested on the 9:48pm job.
10:01pm - Disturbance. Concord and LeClaire. Six males loitering and drinking.
10:29pm - Suspicious person. 40XX W Potomac. Male with a gas can seen in the alley.
10:31pm - Disturbance. 5950 W Lake. Males loitering in the courtyard.
10:34pm - Gang disturbance. 23XX N Mango.
10:35pm - Beat car 1531Robert has a street stop at Lotus and Madison.
10:42pm - Burglary in progress. XX S Mason. Four males putting two garbage cans to a window of an apartment, about to break in.
10:46pm through 10:48pm - Police/Dispatch chatter regarding the 10:42pm burglary. Suspects running through an alley.
10:48pm - Shots Fired. 50XX W Diversey. Five to six heard.
10:49pm - Hold-up alarm. 5801 W Chicago Ave. At the Midlock Instruction.
10:50pm - Assault report. 18XX N Keystone. Caller's daughter was being harassed by a couple of neighborhood kids.
10:51pm - A slow down is being given on the 10:48pm job.
11:28pm - Battery in progress/Shots Fired. 17XX N Linder. Multiple, multiple calls for gunshots and a large fight.
11:37pm - A slow down is being given on the 11:28pm job. There's a big crowd but things have calmed down.
11:43pm - Person stabbed. 55XX W Bloomingdale. Male stabbed on the street.
11:51pm - Ok, so from the 11:28/11:43pm calls, here has what happened. Apparently, there was a big fight and an off-duty Cook County Deputy Sheriff's son was involved, so the Sheriff started screaming and then fired off one gunshot into the air. And then someone was stabbed. There's no crime scene, though. Witnesses and stuff are being taken into 25.
