Superbowl Afternoon Calls
Good afternoon, everyone, it's 4:56pm. It's Superbowl afternoon, the one day out of the year where we all gather near our TVs to watch two football teams fierecly go at it. Anyway, I'm mainly only going to cover Zone 12 this afternoon, and then a little of Zone 1. Here's crime for this afternoon and evening.
4:59pm - Disturbance. 4912 W Madison. Problem with a customer over an iPod.
5:18pm - 1) Disturbance. 20XX N Latrobe. Female Black with a brown leather jacket is peeing in front and loitering. 2) Disturbance. Ferdinand and Lamon. 12 people arguing in the street.
5:30pm - Parker. 1300 N Menard.
5:46pm - EMS run. 1XX N LaCrosse. 1 year old baby was dropped and is bleeding from the head.
5:47pm - Disturbance w/ a mental. 50XX W Gladys.
6:06pm - Beat car 2523 has an on-view accident at Cicero and Belmont, on 17's side.
6:12pm - 1) Suspicious object. Chicago and Laramie. Oxygen tank by the yellow building. 2) Panic alarm. 13XX N Parkside.
6:22pm - Disturbance. 55XX W Huron.
6:14pm - Person down. Harlem and George. In front of the store.
6:26pm - Narcotics. 1XX N Parkside. Teens in the hallway smoking marijuana.
6:34pm - Theft in progress. Keystone and North Ave. Two male Blacks trying to steal a car.
6:36pm - A slow down is being given on the 6:34pm job.
6:38pm - Beat car 2535 is saying that two male Blacks are supposed to be running north on Karlov from North.
6:39pm - 2535 is chasing two male Blacks, in blue t-shirts, north on Kedvale from North.
6:40pm - North on Kedvale, in the west alley, on the 1600 block.
6:43pm - There's now three suspects involved. One's only 11 years old, about 4'5 to 4'8, 70 to 100 lbs, with a blue jacket and skull cap. The other two have on dark clothing, with skull caps.
6:49pm - 1) Battery in progress. 22XX N Mango. 2) Narcotics. Erie/Ohio and Mayfield. Group selling.
7:16pm - They're chasing again. North on Tripp from North.
7:17pm - Running between Kildare and Tripp in the 1600 block.
7:18pm - Running down the 1600 block of Kildare.
7:19pm - Running west on North, towards the McDonalds.
7:20pm - They're running up the stairway of a building at 4345 W North Ave.
7:21pm - 2535 is saying that the keys of their squad car was left in the car.
7:22pm - The car's secured. The other half of 2535 has it.
7:23pm - Holding the offender. 4650 W North Ave.
7:34pm - Check the well being. 36XX N Ozanam.
7:35pm - I'm going to go. I'll be back by next weekend. Have a good night, everyone.
