White Bag Tied To Tree Near School On Laramie, 15 Males Drinking In Alley On Eastwood

Good morning, everyone, it's 8am. Monitoring crime on Zone 1 today until 1pm. Here's crime.


8:02am - Suspicious object. 5100 N Laramie. On the north side, there's a white bag tied to a tree across from the school. Not sure what's in it.

8:04am - Disturbance. Eastwood and Kedzie. In the alley, 15 males are congregating and urinating.

8:16am - Traffic accident. Narragansett and Irving Park.

8:31am - 1) Residential alarm. 60XX N Spokane. 2) Burglar alarm. 35XX N Pioneer.

8:33am - Beat car 1634 is asking for a robbery mission event number. The mission’s being done on his Beat.

9:30am - 1) Suspicious person. Elston and Leland. By the X-Sport. Female White, 35, brown leather jacket, blue hoodie and blue jeans, is walking around the alley and it’s not known what she is up to. 2) Burglary report. 8601 W Foster. At the Dirksen school.

11:38am - Parker. 3358 N Pulaski Rd. Green Grand Am blocking the crosswalk.

11:50am - Traffic accident. 36XX N Oketo. Front end of a car damaged.

11:52am - Beat car 1611 has a bit of a dilemma over by the Stock school at Birchwood and Olcott. They’ve got some sort of outdoor party and there’s no barricades to block off the street. The teachers and staff are using their personal vehicles to block off the streets.

12:07pm - Beat car 1631 is doing a park check at Hiawatha.

12:08pm - Parker. 44XX N Kilbourn. Car with no city stickers or permit.

12:12pm - 1) Disturbance. 4030 N Pulaski. Female employee who was fired on Sunday is back, causing problems. 2) Criminal damage in progress. 36XX N Lamon. Two male Whites, one who’s heavy set with overalls, and the other one with a Sox’s jacket and hat, are stripping a car with a city boot on it.

12:13pm - Assist the citizen. 77XX W Gregory.

12:14pm - A slow down is being given on the 3600 block of N Lamon.

12:15pm - Vicious animal. Laramie and Warwick. Black pit bull running through the area, near the school.

12:19pm - Disturbance. 3937 W Lawrence. Male begging and yelling on the street.

12:25pm - Reckless driver. Elston and Sawyer. Black Lexus with a plate of P629150 is going at a high rate of speed, headed north.

12:26pm - Parker. 3661 N Elston. White car with a plate of 620P916 is blocking the loading zone for the truck company.

12:28pm - Traffic accident. Central and Montrose. Multiple calls. Rollover, someone’s possibly trapped in a car.

12:30pm - Disturbance. 4380 N Elston. Argument in front.

12:31pm - Beat car 1633 is blocking off traffic at Central/Montrose.

12:32pm - 1633 needs a car to block traffic going south on Central from Sunnyside. Beat car 1622 says she’ll do it.

12:33pm - Beat car 1623 is blocking traffic going north on Central from Pensacola.

12:34pm - Beat car 1624, the paper car, is saying there’s just been another accident over there. Pensacola and Central. Car fled west on Pensacola towards Parkside. Per 1633, it’s a black pick-up. Bunch of citizens are running after it.

12:35pm - Beat 1610 is saying it’s a green Honda.

12:36pm - 1) A citizen has the Honda stopped at Major and Montrose. 2) Suspicious person. 4849 N Milwaukee Ave. Male Black with a black/white jacket and blue jeans is carrying a bookbag by the train tracks, he’s up there.

12:37pm - Burglar alarm. 37XX N Harlem.

12:42pm - Parker. 71XX W Higgins. Car parked in the handicap spot, the person to whom that car belongs to is abusing the system by claiming to be handicapped but isn’t.

12:49pm - Disturbance. 52XX W Newport. Problem with the neighbor.

12:51pm - Burglar alarm. 36XX N Avers.

1:00pm - I’m going to go for the day. I’ll be back either tomorrow, Sunday, sometime next week, next weekend or in two weeks. Either way, I hope all of you have a fantastic day!
